Can you make the pattern go in reverse, but still keeps the sample playing foreword ?? Like the Yamaha AN200 if that makes sense... I looked thru the manual.. didn't see that option... thx for any help... And I really enjoyed listening to your music...
Unfortunately, there is no way to do this on the ESX. I wish! I have owned an AN200, and many DX200's, and the thing that shines about these, in my opinion, is the Free EG. Since the pattern sequencer is only 16 notes (1 bar), I mostly sequenced the notes from another sequencer, but the Free EG scenes are 8 bars, so it was very nice to morph between the scenes. @@danieklerr i never got that deep with the AN200, but it is the first machine i filled up with my own beats.... so its a secret weapon of mine.. using these older units with new tech is part of my process....
