I mean, if you still have the game you can, or if you have an older ps4 that's exploitable. I'm not sure if this is true or not, and I don't want to try it because I'd have to delete P.T. from my console to try it. I also don't know if this can be done entirely on the PS4 or if you have to use PKGs somehow.

I've spent an extensive amount of time testing after watching this video, and have come to the conclusion that you don't need to say "Jarith" but rather anything that begins with a J. I've confirmed it working with Jonathon, Joseph, jambalaya, Jehovah's witness, Jumping Jack Frost, or even just saying the letter J. I've also tried changing the first letter of Jarith to a G for "Garith" and got nothing. As soon as I make the slightest J sound it triggers. This leads me to believe that it is not just a matter of sloppy voice recognition cutting you slack on speaking the word Jarith (because otherwise slurring Jarith or saying Gareth would have worked), but that the requirements are purposefully anything that begins with a J. The message on the error screen signed by -J combined with the instructions to "speak his name" are indeed the biggest clue, but I just don't think the translation of the numbers has anything to do with it. That logic simply led you to speaking names that begin with J. The reason why most any J name will work is probably because we don't know -J's full name, and Kojima wanted to leave it up to our interpretation or imagination, without being so strict no one would ever solve it. Also the eligibility for getting the laugh starts as soon as the clock begins striking, and has nothing to do with the ghost or how far she is into her haunting. I've purposefully desynced the clock and ghost so that one will happen way before the other, and nothing I said worked throughout the entire duration of the haunt, but I achieved a laugh instantly as soon as the clock started up, before the first chime had even ended, because I was already in the middle of speaking. Also, you can wait for both the clock and the haunting to dissipate and speak the name into complete silence, half an hour after it has struck midnight, and it will still register. This whole phenomenon feels like deciphering an ARG, and every step forward we make as a community gets me more and more excited at the notion of a Silent Hill directed by such an obvious madman.

"Hideo Kojima comes to aid gamers in their continuous search for clues in P.T. with the reveal of the previously mentioned message. The “7780s” phrase found in the game, translates in a post code for Shizuoka, Japan. The name’s translation is Quiet Hills, a common nickname for Silent Hills in that region. So, adding “s” to “7780″ will result in Silent Hills."
Keep in mind that I in no way believe that jokey phonetic reference is meant to be taken as the actual reference in the context of Silent Hill ok? haha
in Japanese, they like to attribute syllables from the language to numbers (ie for phone numbers on commercials etc.) Not to mention a LOT of Japanese horror games and movies have mysterious numbers that translate into syllables. here's some of the most common attributions to the numbers: 2 = fu ni tsu 0 = o n to 4 = shi yo 8 = ha ba pa ya 6 = ro mu 3 = mi sa san fu o yo ba ro mi o fu ro ba mi yo ofuroba miyo ofuroba = the bathtub miyo = older Japanese for "Look at" (commanding) (for Japanese learners: "miro" and "miyou" are modern ways of saying it, but "miyo" (without the u) is the equivalent of modern "miro" in old Japanese) "Look at the Bathtub" Did anyone do that?
@@annstrain660 this solution was posted on a forum 8 years ago, and this comment 6, therefore it's likely not him and has nothing to do with the said solution that was discovered..
if you're watching this and dont want nightmares, or if you're just on edge in general here are a few timestamps to avoid/prepare for 2:44 4:28 7:55 i get this is a video about a HORROR game, but personally im watching it to see the genius puzzles that was made for this game.
HEY, did anyone noticed while playing the game that when you reach the final loop, if you got in the stairs and wait for the bell, if you turn back and walk slowly towards the phone, you will see a ghost, but not lisa. When I first saw it, it seemed like a drunken man walking... Could it be the husband of the family ? That would be the explanation of all the beer cans and bottles... But does anyone has another answer to this ???
I only played it a few times at my friend's place, but I've been watching every god damn video's about this game on youtube and I can't tell you if what I saw was just Lisa or the man I thought it was.
OMG this cant be -__- I tried everything to make the baby laugh, for almost ONE hour, and nothing worked... Then paused my Game and watched this video, and, I swear, when he said "Jarith" this Mo.....**** of a baby started to laugh at the paused screen...NAHHH..
Kojima said earlier today 7780 is the postal code for a place in Japan that translates into English as Quiet Hills, or Silent Hills, but this is a really awesome theory!
You solved it When you see the ghost, just toss a jar of piss on him and minicrit the shit out of him with your melee wep Stupid spies, pretty useless.
Man, you're not gonna believe this. I was just watching your video while playing and paused the game after the first baby laugh. When you said Jarith for the first time at 7:45 of the video, the baby in my game laughed for the second time (while the game was still paused). o.O" After that, I just had to stand still and it laughed for the third time and BINGO. Thanks a lot, man!!!
Kojima has already confirmed that 7780s came from a Japanese nickname given to "Silent Hill", with the S making it Silent HillS. Also the loading image was a photo of one of the dev's backyard, just to use as a photo to represent the game. I highly doubt that this ridiculously convoluted solution you've found by cross referencing the numbers with the word "tree" is what the developers actually have had planned.
It's incredible that you and others have figured this out. Hell, I can't even solve Device 6 without looking up a walkthrough and this is amazingly cryptic!
7780 is the postcode of Shizuoka, Japan. It's often referred to as Silent Hill. Hence, "7780s" Studios means "Silent Hills". The code is HILL not tree!
Just tried it and it works...fhew..Kojimi is incredibly smart to come up with these puzzles. However, for TheGrateDebate to work this out , deserves even more credit. Thanks guys and well done!!!
This method worked for me the first time I tried. It's unbelivable how Kojima put so much deepness into this puzzle, that's why I love him and that's also why I think the upcoming silent hill game will be the best one to date. Also what I found interesting in PT was the fist room. If you look at the walls, there are tallies (those counting lines) carved into the walls. And after a while, you can hear the noise, like someone is carving more lines. There is also a paper bag on the table with blood on it. I don't know what all that means but maybe that's also a small puzzle or another secret?
This is awesome. That level of depth in this. Just having to do so much research for a teaser! I hope this is a sign that the game will be this deep. I am very excited for this game!
It would been interesting if you had also analyzed the first twitch broadcast. This probably happened in twitch precisely because streamers often talk while broadcasting the game. Given everybody streaming, that first guy probably said something close enough to "Jareth" to trigger the true end. This probably is the thing kojima did not expect when he stated that it would take weeks for players to figure out the final puzzle; the pure random change with implementing the microphone speech regicnition, and thousands of twitch streamers playing the game while talking. The funny thing that happened there is now instead finding the answer to conclusion people are finding the why from conclusion, and the unfounded stuff still could be very intriguing.
While I did manage several times to successfully trigger the second laughter using the "calling Jarith's name into the mic", it always worked without flaws when I searched for Lisa's moans / cries during the haunting and exactly in the spot where her voice was loudest I called his name. Usually it's next to the clock or the radio. Played the demo countless times and it always worked.
What's the explanation for the 10 steps? What indicates to the player to go exactly 10 steps? The only reference to the number 10 is in the bathroom dialogue post eye hole scene. The quote ends with something like "...10 months back." But it's so disconnected from the picture puzzle instructions. What's the explanation for the 10 steps?
***** I know that's what you do. I can't help but feel like you didn't read the comment. The question is what in the game explains why you go exactly ten steps?
elcamel1216 I think the radio at one point says:"I walked till I stood one pace before Jack" This is referring to a deck of cards, for i.e. one pace before Jack means the number of the card is 10, again referring to the ten steps, as in "Ten steps before the jack, eleven" As for the Jarith theory, looking back at how the error messages are written, for i.e. contact J, 20 years back is referring to the second protagonist of the Silent Hill franchise, Silent Hill is 20 years old. The name of Silent Hill 2's protagonist was J Sunderland, first name being James, so the whole Jarith thing after a bit of research is a total farce and only works because the mic technology voice recognition isn't up to scratch. The real name that is key to finishing the final puzzle is James.
elcamel1216 I think your theory's correct. The fetus says that it all happened 10 months back. The fetus is not much older than 2 months. So Lisa might have got pregnant 1 year ago, and the murder of the whole family have taken place 10 months ago. My other suggestion is the clock showing 23;59... (2+3)+(5+9)=5+14=19 => 1+9=10
***** I never heard or saw anything like that "I walked till I stood one pace before Jack"... The paper bag says "I walked. I could do nothing but walk." So that "Jack and deck of cards" thing seems dismissed. /watch?v=GpRLoyHQHyM The radio says "Nine-eleven" instead of "Nine-one-one". "9,11" is either somehow referred to September 11th, or it's just "9+11=20" which leads us to your clue of 20 years Silent Hill.
I'm a bit confused. People have presumably got to the ending without saying anything into a mic. Is the thought that the mic heard random noise as the name? Also, I don't have a ps4. Do they all have a mic or something? Seems strange to create a solution that only people with a certain peripheral can solve... Edit: So it's clear to me now that the PS4 doesn't have a built in mic. One thing brought up in replies is that there are likely multiple triggers but this is one method to do it consistent. The next thing that it's unclear is if you really have to say that name, or can you just say literally anything into the mic? I don't think the vid mentioned testing alternate words.
Komija like to make some stuff directly with the console (in MGS, psychomantis read your memory card). So, as the Playstation4 is sell with a mic, he could have the idea to analyze your voice.
>see this video >feel frightened of how complex this game and its mysteries are >decide to give the video a like >uploader has 666 subscribers kojima confirmed for god of fear
My theory: Jarith is a way you can write Jared - a biblical character. Jared is Enoch's father. In the Bible, Enoch is the man who God takes to the Heaven. He didn't die. According Caballah, Enoch turns into an angel called Metatron. Metatron "appears" several times in Silent Hill franchise as the opposite of Samael. So, Jarith killed Lisa (who was pregnant) to try kill their child. The fetus in the sink is Enoch - or Metatron - and his laugh release the player from that hallway.
I have been trying to finish this since it was released and was never able to trigger the second giggle. Today I said Jareth into a mic a few times and it worked. Thanks man.
i would like to clarify, since silent hills will be released on the xbox one, i will be getting it on that, or if it's on pc, and i have a gaming rig then i will get it on pc as of now, i have no interest in getting a ps4
***** Uncharted really isn't as appealing as some people seem to think it is/want it to be. Especially now that Tomb Raider is getting great new games.
The flashlight colors were an example of minor differences in parallel universes. The hallway always changes in some way, and you have a very VERY small chance that your flashlight colors will change because, in that Silent Hill of many Silent Hills (eh?) the flashlight color was green, or blue etc
Kojima, im not even kidding. you are one of the most awesome puzzle makers in the history of ever. and mr. thegratedebate, you are one of the most clever people i have ever heard of on this world! im not even kidding!
So did I, but I also had a mic connected and was sitting in a room with my friend. It's possible it picked up something and thought it was the answer. Voice recognition is still sketchy.
Years ago I watched this, and six years later how intricate this puzzle is amazes me. Horror is such a unique place to put this kind of thing, as your brain in horror or terror naturally will not perform complex thinking, rather a fight, freeze, or flight mindset takes over. I imagine had we gotten a full game we would’ve had more of this, where our fear is the barrier and we have to use logic rather than instinct to win. I believe if any company could’ve made our brains both our biggest enemy and resource it would’ve been these guys
'Grate' video :) Looking forward to more PT videos from you! Also, maybe other game conspiracies? Silent Hills would be a great one, considering quite what they could get into this genius demo.
Interesting. Have you tried saying something other than Jarith at that moment, though? I ask because I've seen call 2 accessed several times without that being said.
***** There has been consistency with other noises. Playing that youtube video of Kojima's voice saying "Did you like it?" followed by the MGS '!' sound effect is guaranteed to work, too. It seems to look for a certain kind of sound or pitch. I'm almost positive that all the 'numbers backwards and replaced by letters and let's look for a male name' stuff is nonsense. It just seems to be looking for a certain kind of voice, as clued in the male voice during the final section that says something like 'I took away his/her voice' in Italian. It's just a question of whose voice it's looking for, or if it's just being cryptic and saying 'you need to use a certain kind of voice.'
I was wondering this, too, Adam; if a control name was used. We know how picky voice recognition software can be, so it could be that saying something at just the right moment is enough.
7780 is the postcode of the Shizuoka region in Japan. The name translates roughly to "Quiet Hills," and the region's name has become a nickname for Silent Hill in its native country. Tack an "S" on the end and you end up with Silent Hills
Coincidentally, as funny as it was, saying "Jarith" did work on the first try. We were by the radio and said it, and Lisa came out of nowhere and possessed us. It scared the fuck out of me, but instead of going through the door and restarting the loop, we went into the bathroom while possessed. The baby did the second laugh by seeing us possessed by the mother. The controller shook, the baby laughed again and the phone rang. I think it's actually as simple as just getting possessed and going into the bathroom to get the second baby laugh. It's just funny that it worked the time we said "Jarith"
This is the best deduction of clues I have found on P.T. to date. Absolutely on board with the "tree" decipher reference, which lead to the father's name. I'm going to see, if the different flash light colors perhaps reveal clues to substantiate the Jerith solution to the chanted number. Be all that, as it may, I did have a 100% success rate with whispering Jerith any time AFTER the church bells ring midnight. (looking at one of the haunted items when whispering may help - was able to get the baby to laugh while in the room with the bloody bag on the table after I got blind sided by Lisa) Also 100% success with the 10 steps AFTER a haunting. worked every time so far. Making that phone ring in 2 minutes... ish every RUN I made to date (50 ish)!
At a gamescom live stream in which Kojima was interviewed about Silent Hills amongst other things, Kojima revealed the significance of 7780. He said his reason for picking 7780 for the faux studio's name was that in Japanese Silent Hill translates to Shizuoka which is either a ward of Tokyo or one of Japan's prefectures, (I cannot recall even if this is the right name of it. Its name sounded similar though) so people in Japan, when referring to the games call it Shizuoka, and 7780 is either the acreage or square kilometer measurement of that ward or prefecture. It was kind of a very well hidden hint right at the beginning of the game foreshadowing the reveal at the end. Whether or not this disproves your theory, I don't really know. Also, I have found that just plugging the mike in and shouting, talking or doing any assortment noises will also trigger the second baby's laugh. Really good detective work though. Whether or not this is the true and final solution, I applaud the effort. I never would even thought to look at all these little details so much.
You never know, Hideo could be saying the truth, but that does not mean he could not have taken that and woven it up like the theory suggests. There sure is a lot of anger in this channel so far though, do people seriously have this much issues with a game theory ?
The puzzle was too much to follow through with, indeed it was creative though. Still no one is really sure, but im not trying to crack the goddamn Da Vinci code every fucking level when the full game comes out. just no.
Goddammit, you're a bloody genius, and whoever took part of this. Even if I had a console and had the nerve to sit through this game, I would never figured out the solution. Maybe because modern games soften my brain very much and I wouldn't even dare to thing that something as cryptic would be presented in the game.
I don't think it has to be a name at all whispered into the mic. I watched Jay_Flint on Twitch just loop the Metal Gear Solid enemy alert sound a few times and it worked.
Omg, Love this shit! Well done Sherlock :P. Wow your way of thinking is really fantastic and I got Goose bumps, because I played the Game and everything sounds perfectly right. I didn't know, that there is so much standing behind P.T.. I'm really looking forward on the game and hope to see more videos from your Channel. A big like for this awesome shit :DD
Nice video and explanation. But I believe there is indeed multiple ways to solve the last puzzle and not a one definitive method. I did solve it without a mic, I just had to hear the hunting voices and know where it came from, go there, and a second laugh. Kojima is a Master Mind! I am super excited for Silent Hill(S)
I have a theory about the loading screen. Its generally accepted that P.T and the fourth wall, veiled dialogue within, is a message from Kojima about his split with Konami. Absolutely genius btw. With that in mind, on the loading screen, the tree trunk with the P.T logo on it has been chopped with a small budding flower growing out of it. I believe this is a visual metaphor for the *ahem* axing of Kojima Productions and Kojimas intention to start anew. Legendary.
Well, so much for the theory about what 7780s means. 7780 is the postal code for a place in Japan that has a name that roughly translates to Quiet Hills. www.ign.com/articles/2014/08/22/hideo-kojimo-explains-that-mysterious-number-in-the-pt-demo
+Shannon Penasar I decided it was a good idea to watch the video where you can catch a glimpse of Lisa if you exit the starting room backwards after dying. Worst idea ever.
Jeez, it's been awhile. And of course the video goes viral, too. I'm not sure if Kojima was looking for that exactly, although it's nice to see Silent Hill really getting into insane puzzle territory again, even if it's just for a teaser. Any chance we'll start seeing more Grate Debate stuff in the near future? Or are you guys still a bit bogged down?
I'm very well aware of that. Main reason why I said "even if it's just for a teaser." It just reminds me of stuff like the Shakespeare puzzle in Silent Hill 3. It's not something you really see in the Silent Hill series anymore.
81resudne I am looking forward to Silent Hills - I guess this will be a great title, I have trust in Kojima & Co. But what I like is this demo... I would like to see more small games like this one appear in the Playstation Store. It was so spooky, really well made, some good riddles... I liked that. It does not need a complete game like Silent Hills - I hope other developers will see this and create their own "teaser games" :-)

in Japanese, they like to attribute syllables from the language to numbers (ie for phone numbers on commercials etc.)
Not to mention a LOT of Japanese horror games and movies have mysterious numbers that translate into syllables.
here's some of the most common attributions to the numbers:
2 = fu ni tsu
0 = o n to
4 = shi yo
8 = ha ba pa ya
6 = ro mu
3 = mi sa san
fu o yo ba ro mi
o fu ro ba mi yo
ofuroba miyo
ofuroba = the bathtub
miyo = older Japanese for "Look at" (commanding)
(for Japanese learners: "miro" and "miyou" are modern ways of saying it, but "miyo" (without the u) is the equivalent of modern "miro" in old Japanese)
"Look at the Bathtub"
Did anyone do that?

Holy fucking shit, you should work at game theory. Seriously just wow. You are a litteral genius.
@@annstrain660 this solution was posted on a forum 8 years ago, and this comment 6, therefore it's likely not him and has nothing to do with the said solution that was discovered..
My God, if this solution is right, then Kojima is a freaking genius to come up with such puzzles.
***** the butthurt is real
***** then by all means design a game for us and amake it have puzzles lots and lots of hard to figure out with no clue puzzles
***** Dumbass, he said "if".

i get this is a video about a HORROR game, but personally im watching it to see the genius puzzles that was made for this game.
ImUhhCaptain 🙏 thank you
HEY, did anyone noticed while playing the game that when you reach the final loop, if you got in the stairs and wait for the bell, if you turn back and walk slowly towards the phone, you will see a ghost, but not lisa. When I first saw it, it seemed like a drunken man walking... Could it be the husband of the family ? That would be the explanation of all the beer cans and bottles... But does anyone has another answer to this ???
What?
Comments like these need to be upvoted !
Underrated comment
You should record it. I've never heard of that, but want to see it so badly.
Same shit here!!!!!
What's the logical conclusion? Kojima gets shit done, but he's kinda insane.
I rewatch this video every now and then just because of how interesting and well constructed it is, great job!
Back when we thought this game would actually be released.
Man, it still hurts, but at least we got Death Stranding.
meh death stranding was a walking simulator
Kojima said earlier today 7780 is the postal code for a place in Japan that translates into English as Quiet Hills, or Silent Hills, but this is a really awesome theory!
Could "he slid his handover mine" mean that you have to swipe the touchpad on the DS4?
thought this as well! they overlooked that
This is great! =D Love how intricate it all is yet you were able to take us through it step by step.
what the.. jabatoons. how did you get here
+1 you can say ANYTHING into the mic.. its just listening for audio assuming that's actually required.
Incorrect, it has to have a J sound, like several others have pointed out in this thread so far.
DecoyBlackMage "J" (in English) is enough. Makes more sense because in a quote in the game there is an "J." in the end.
MEER DER IDEEN®
I have not gotten the other methods to work very well though, the "J" or sound approach, works every time.
DecoyBlackMage Yes, as I said, the sound of "J" (spoken in English) works every time.
just following up.. i just had my buddy try it. He said the words: "This isn't working" and that worked.
For PT emulator
1st: Wait till 0:00 and walk 10 steps
2nd: Approach Lisa and whisper "Lisa" into the mic
3rd: Stand still until baby
J_R_T_
JARATE
You solved it
When you see the ghost, just toss a jar of piss on him and minicrit the shit out of him with your melee wep
Stupid spies, pretty useless.
da spooki ghost is a spy
I think I'm going to have Bob whispering Jarith as my ringtone for when I wake up.
"Go try it!"
Yeah. I'll get on that....
This is absolutely brilliant. Hats off for figuring this out.
oh my god the murderer was the Goblin King all along

It's amazing that you dove so deep to solve this puzzle. The puzzle itself is also pretty damn impressive.
7 years, and this is still so good....
I spent so long trying to finish this teaser and this method worked first time. Thank you so much.
Kojima = the King in developing a game.
Man, you're not gonna believe this.
I was just watching your video while playing and paused the game after the first baby laugh. When you said Jarith for the first time at 7:45 of the video, the baby in my game laughed for the second time (while the game was still paused). o.O"
After that, I just had to stand still and it laughed for the third time and BINGO.
Oh thank god. You know, hwen he first found out the third letter, J_R_T_, i thought the Solution was Jarate.
Same. o_O
I love you guys...I just laughed so hard my coffee came out my nose
I always said "help me" into the mic, and it worked every time
7780 is the postcode of Shizuoka, Japan.
I was brought here from Caddicarus. Anyone else?
I was
I was.
I was!
Here
That would be me
This method worked for me the first time I tried.
How about (7780s = Hills) from Silent Hills ?
Or hells
What's the explanation for the 10 steps?
elcamel1216 The bell toll at midnight, the very moment you hear it move ten steps forward and ten steps only, the baby will then laugh.
***** I know that's what you do. I can't help but feel like you didn't read the comment. The question is what in the game explains why you go exactly ten steps?
elcamel1216
I think the radio at one point says:"I walked till I stood one pace before Jack" This is referring to a deck of cards, for i.e. one pace before Jack means the number of the card is 10, again referring to the ten steps, as in "Ten steps before the jack, eleven"
As for the Jarith theory, looking back at how the error messages are written, for i.e. contact J, 20 years back is referring to the second protagonist of the Silent Hill franchise, Silent Hill is 20 years old.
/watch?v=GpRLoyHQHyM
The radio says "Nine-eleven" instead of "Nine-one-one". "9,11" is either somehow referred to September 11th, or it's just "9+11=20" which leads us to your clue of 20 years Silent Hill.
saw the jarith method used on jesse cox's channel
worked really quick and pretty much convinced me that it was the definite answer
great video
I am pretty sure the controllers have a mic built into them.
***** No, they don't. But every PS4 comes bundled with a microphone and earpod.
all the ps4 come with a basic headset, is a headphone and a mic :)
SpazioGames.it
Ah, my bad
Komija like to make some stuff directly with the console (in MGS, psychomantis read your memory card). So, as the Playstation4 is sell with a mic, he could have the idea to analyze your voice.
Its amazing how much effort was put into a TRAILER
>see this video
>feel frightened of how complex this game and its mysteries are
>decide to give the video a like

kojima confirmed for god of fear
This was the only video that helped me after searching the internet for like 2 hours!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!
My theory:
Jarith is a way you can write Jared - a biblical character.
Are you my local preist??
I have been trying to finish this since it was released and was never able to trigger the second giggle. Today I said Jareth into a mic a few times and it worked. Thanks man.
i would like to clarify, since silent hills will be released on the xbox one, i will be getting it on that, or if it's on pc, and i have a gaming rig then i will get it on pc
as of now, i have no interest in getting a ps4
What about Uncharted 4?
***** Uncharted really isn't as appealing as some people seem to think it is/want it to be. Especially now that Tomb Raider is getting great new games.
Zinneps
Well, I think Uncharted is much better than Tomb Raider.
***** P.T stands for playable teaser , i heard that this game is a teaser for "silent hills" so mabye you will get more
It's not an exclusive, lol
The flashlight colors were an example of minor differences in parallel universes. The hallway always changes in some way, and you have a very VERY small chance that your flashlight colors will change because, in that Silent Hill of many Silent Hills (eh?) the flashlight color was green, or blue etc
'The Great Debate' and 'Final Solution' bring up a lot of interesting similar to this video results.

HELL
LLEH
Kojima, im not even kidding. you are one of the most awesome puzzle makers in the history of ever. and mr. thegratedebate, you are one of the most clever people i have ever heard of on this world! im not even kidding!
This is awesome! I'm so amazed by how much work you guys put into figuring this out!
I got the second baby laugh while I had the game paused...
So did I, but I also had a mic connected and was sitting in a room with my friend. It's possible it picked up something and thought it was the answer. Voice recognition is still sketchy.
Me too man, damn it.. Paused the game to get some food and the fucking baby laughed.
MetalHearts100 pants were shat on that moment XD
MetalHearts100 baby : "how you got some food did you can i have some? 'laughs'
Your name just describes it all.
"AnEternalEnigma."
I used the: "did you rike it? !" method
Oh god, he's calling it "the final solution"
Excuse me while I sweep up my brain chunks on the floor, this just blew my mind. Thank you Kojima for bringing everyone together in this way.
Why do i watch videos about this game before i go to bed
This is such a good video! You should make more of these questioning videos!
I didn't use microphone for the entire demo but it is definitely good to know there are multiple solutions. Will give this a try later.
Jarith worked immediately. Nice work.
WOW I was stuck on this game for days now and this really solved the puzzle. Hats off to you bruh THANKS...
You were curious how the zero shows up in 08/24/63?
wow man, I'm amazed by all the work you went through to figure this thing out. Good job! O_O
What was the gameplay like when you were "possessed"? Because I know Lisa will run at you if you take more than ten steps.
(looking at one of the haunted items when whispering may help - was able to get the baby to laugh while in the room with the bloody bag on the table after I got blind sided by Lisa)
Also 100% success with the 10 steps AFTER a haunting. worked every time so far.
I never would even thought to look at all these little details so much.
shizuoka = shizu (ka) mean quiet, calm or silent, and oka means hills. Shizuoka Prefecture (State) and is 7,780.60km²
Ok cool. I wasn't sure if I had the name right or not.
Still no one is really sure, but im not trying to crack the goddamn Da Vinci code every fucking level when the full game comes out. just no.
Bishop 187 Ever played silent hill 3 ? It gave you some pretty insane mind gobblers, the most notorious is probably the shakespear puzzle.
Omg,
Love this shit!
Could you link, in the description, the signification of the name Jarith ?
Nice video and explanation.
But I believe there is indeed multiple ways to solve the last puzzle and not a one definitive method.
I did solve it without a mic, I just had to hear the hunting voices and know where it came from, go there, and a second laugh.
Kojima is a Master Mind!
I am super excited for Silent Hill(S)
What happens if you say Lisa's name? Does she appear, or get more hostile?
Josh Free nigga
I have a theory about the loading screen.
Its generally accepted that P.T and the fourth wall, veiled dialogue within, is a message from Kojima about his split with Konami.
Absolutely genius btw.
With that in mind, on the loading screen, the tree trunk with the P.T logo on it has been chopped with a small budding flower growing out of it.
I believe this is a visual metaphor for the *ahem* axing of Kojima Productions and Kojimas intention to start anew.
Legendary.
Even if this game were not cancelled, I still wouldn't get it. Why? Because I enjoy staying sane.
+Date Masamune i'd get it i'm an insane motherfucker and im sad as fuck i missed out on p.t.
Sanity is overrated.
Even IF this theory is incorrect (hey, it works when put into action!), a lot of work was put into this video and the research. I really enjoyed this.
Well, so much for the theory about what 7780s means.
7780 is the postal code for a place in Japan that has a name that roughly translates to Quiet Hills.
www.ign.com/articles/2014/08/22/hideo-kojimo-explains-that-mysterious-number-in-the-pt-demo
That Arcade Fire reference in the description makes me so happy
DAMN YOU'RE GOOD
"You're pretty good!"
arsnakehert In retrospect I kinda wish the voice on the phone had said "Kept you waiting, huh?" instead of "You've been chosen."
"They played us like a damn fiddle!"
Give this man a medal! Please make one with the lights. It'll be very cool seeing your explanation. :D
... I really shouldnt be watching Silent Hill/P.T. videos at 1 oclock in the morning....
+Shannon Penasar I decided it was a good idea to watch the video where you can catch a glimpse of Lisa if you exit the starting room backwards after dying.
Worst idea ever.
+Lauren Carroll oh God...
I think I watched that one as well. To be honest, I watched about 4/5 PT vids... Worst sleep of my life. XD
I've got school tomorrow. Well, now I'm heading to school with and expanding piss stain.
watching these at 2am so just gonna leave all my lights on
I tried it today and finally ended this teaser after so many tries so thank u
Kojima played us like a damn FIDDLE !
Sometimes it makes me wish I was old enough to play P.T. and solve the perplexing puzzles...
This does not have anything to do with Silent Hills, the final game. You can red it at the end of the teaser.
