Quick correction Coach Elliot coached tight end 1999-2000 at app state. But you’re right that position has changed since then towards more of a pass catching position
Seems like a Lot of folks are concerned about our WR Room… Juice is listed as 6’1” 210lbs!!! He was a Really Good WR for Us… We just need a Player (hopefully 2 or 3) to Step Up similar to how Leggette Did last Year!!! Spurs Up☝️ Go Gamecocks!!! 🏈🏆✅
I’ll say it with no shame that South Carolina is the coolest stadium in college football in America. None of these ranked are cooler. They’re just not.
With our front guys on defense.. Especially on DE position being stacked this year... it should allow our DBs to shine a bit more this season. We didnt do a good job getting pressure on the QB consistently last year or containing outside. With experience and talent we have @ defensive front I can see Kilgore, Emmanwori, Fortune, and I also see SWAIN stepping into a dominant role this year and locking down WRs/TEs... Our defense should be much improved this year I hope we stay with 3-3-5 as we did at end of last year.. we seemed to perform better... maybe that was because of lack of pressure. 4-2-5 might also be alot better this year... WE shall see if we can get after it on D and knock some heads off (DJ Swearinger STYLE) .
I will agree. I remember Bradd Scotts 1-11 team , and Holtz's 0-12 and Columbia was at Williams Brice on Saturday night. I remember going to Clemson in 2005 when Tommy Bowden and Charlie Whitehurst squared off agaist Boston College and Matt Ryan. I scalped a ticket for $5 and witnessed an epic overtime thriller. BC won in the ACC inaugural conference championship season Dr Pepper season. Clemson was still way under capacity. With Clemson's drop off in the last few years , you can still get a discounted ticket most Saturdays. Gamecocks will bring the crowd and energy with subpar seasons. When SC was winning in the days of Garcia and Shaw , there was not a more electric atmosphere. This years offense is young , but the oline is loaded with first round talent. The defense has talent depth and experience. If this team beats Kentucky and returns home to beat LSU this stadium will be a snake pit for opposing teams.
Thank You Andrew for Providing Us Fans With a Whole Lot of Great Content on Our Gamecocks 👍
clemson stadium is like crickets when they're losing, and TX AM has the weirdest, most bizarre fan presentation there is
Good job Andrew. You do your research and we're gonna miss you.
Thanks for your hard work on Locked on Gamecocks
