Bro, stop with the 'Ole Miss' hasn't had the consistency of S. Carolina. Last I checked, which is a calendar flip to last year, we Rebels won 11 games and NY6 bowl against Penn State. Meanwhile, Carolina was soft all year and flaky.

This game is definitely winnable. BUT... I am not thrilled that Old Miss got punched in the mouth last weekend - Kiffin and his team came into that game cocky and un-prepared because they had run over a bunch of lesser opponents. That is NOT gonna happen Saturday and Old Miss and Kiffin have a LOT on the line with this game. The Gamecocks are going to have to come into this game super prepared and laser focused. Juice Wells "revenge" should not even be a thought for us because that takes away from focus on the game. I think we have a better defense front to back than UK and we will need to be very disruptive and make Dart run for his life and stay rattled and the back end needs to be on point and get a pick / turnover or two because Dart can throw and he has a lot of talent to throw to. And we CANNOT let them get their run game going. The Gamecocks need to put together extended drives, keep the Old Miss offense off the field, and score touchdowns instead of field goals in the red zone. We need to come out strong and score early and the let the Defense EAT. I believe we can do that.... GO COCKS !!!

No impressive wins yet, but I am hopeful that if they can beat Ole Miss it may be the spark to put them on a run, if they lose to Ole miss, then its another year of disappointment, and some no name bowl game at best. I mean They got Kentucky already, that was good. Will get Vandy, Wofford, the rest can be suspect. I hope the win out of course, But toughest schedule in the nation on a lower tier Program, its tough.

The Defense and Clayton White get a solid A. The Offense and Dowell Loggains both get a solid B, but the O Line gets a B-/C+. The O line needs to get a little better in this upcoming stretch against SEC teams. We need to have more consistent protection in the next 3 games in order for LaNorris and Robby to be at their best - they both are still holding the ball too long before making a decision - and that can't happen against Old Miss, OU, and Bama. It's hard to say without seeing Old Miss play UK, but I think we have a 50/50 chance to win that one. We should beat OU because we have more talent overall. As for Bama - I do think we have the talent to compete with anyone in the SEC - but winning in Tuscaloosa would be a really tall order that I doubt will happen... I see at least 7 wins this year and maybe 8. Mizzou, A&M, and Vandy are all definitely winnable games, and I am cautiously optimistic about taking down Clemson. All that said - GO COCKS !!

Why isn’t anyone talking about Davis Beville. He was on the money with his passing. That first incomplete in the end zone was he a good looking ball that only his receiver could have gotten.

Defense A plus. Offense A minus. Defense won the game against ODU. A few busts here and there, but I couldn't be happier. Depth , talent and continuity. Wouldn't trade this unit for any in the country. Offense has 9 or 10 new faces. Improves weekly. Running back room is incredible 4 or 5 first or second year players. True freshmen at left tackle. No one is making excuses. I predicted 7 regular season wins and I'm sticking with it. Barring injury , i like us against A&M Oklahoma, Missouri, Vanderbilt. Clemson is a toss up. I love that we have a great team that will compete and give us a chance to win every week. With a bowl game , there is a possibility this team wins 9 games and people will quit piling on the coaches. Whether I'm in the stands or watching on tv , my team is solid and competitive. Yes , it was Akron, but Robby Ashford put on a performance for the ages. Saturday football is back in Columbia, SC. Gamecock fans have something to Crow about on Saturdays. Tall order to ask , but let's kick Lane Kiffin's ass in ten days. We might need a few turnovers but this is doable if the offense can play clean football and score 30 points
