KORA MUSIC FOR MEDITATION

Kora is a 21-string African music instrument used by Manding people.
According oral history the name (KORA) came from mandinka word (koora/kaa kora) which means to amass or to gather together. Hence you have to collect 21 strings together in order to get a sound, that's why it's called Kora.
It's used by male musicians,the (Jali's) to narrate histories of their people.
Is one of the oldest African instruments, that has been in existence since the 13 century.
