How about a fish aquarium as a hobby? Very relaxing and therapeutic to view and hear the water trickle. There is some, but minimal maintenance and can be left for a few days without harm. You can add live plants and just have fun with it. *A larger aquarium/body of water is easier to care for and remains more stable in water parameter values than a small one.

Isn't Life a funny thing, is what I always say... I have had 3-4 events in my life where I thought that I was done for. What it actually is, is a chance to change your life. A re-set. I have done it. She did look lovely. The funny thing is here in Perth even though we are only a few weeks off until winter we are still having warm temps at 29c. Weird weather for this time of the year but we are certainly not complaining.

Good news from what I’m hearing! Happy you are going to get with a pain management dr. I wish they would do something for me but here in the states they will not give any opioids for pain. Perhaps they don’t believe people with neuropathy. Who knows!? Cheers! 💙

Wow! I’m super happy. I was down you were down. I got some bad health news recently ( not cancer) and I was feeling pretty sorry for myself. BUT: I joined a gym again. Got some Beats headphones and was rocking on the treadmill today. And hear me out Paul…what about adopting an older pet who needs a lap to cuddle on at night or shorter walks. I love my “ new girl “ even though she isn’t very new. It’s definitely not her time yet just like it’s definitely not your time yet!! So we all need to get on with living and loving. I don’t suppose you like art? I set up a little space I am going to try painting at because I always wanted to and never took the time. You can take online classes or even just sign up with a local art club with someone you like the style of. You have EXCELLENT T-shirt style so surely there are some artistic roots in there you could water? Can’t wait to hear what my fave YTber will be up to next!!

Great news. Yes get busy living! One of my friends mom was in hospice. She signed herself out had palliative care so she never had pain and she traveled the world for over 2 years. Live Paul ! Live!

Paul, I’m trying some prayers for your pet scans and tests. I’m using a long prayer on line with an Irish priest. so many prayer answers are coming it’s unreal. I have to concentrate and be patient to finish it, but my prayer journey is adding to others who love you and we join in helping you. doctors won’t get it. all I know is you look great and it warms our hearts!,love you.

I’m thanking God for your healing Paul, and that is what I believe has happened, it is by Jesus stripes on Cavalry, that we are healed. He took it all for us, He loves us so much. I have prayed often for you, as I know many have and are. You are a bright light to a dying world. I just received similar great news yesterday as I saw my Oncologist and got the results of a recent CT Scan, no Cancer there any more…this is all after Chemotherapy Treatments all of last year. As follow up, had my 3rd Immunotherapy Treatment in a series of 4 yesterday, only 1 more to go. Then follow up CT Scan in 6 months. I know God’s power, and you do too. Be sure to give Him the glory. I have been following you through your journey as I have been on my own. Keep posting, and letting your great smile warm the world around you.
You should go uni, your such an intelligent, intellectual man and no doubt your'd be an absolute inspiration. Caroline had a brilliant idea there.

Great news! As for looking for something to do I always liked volunteering. I enjoyed especially volunteering at my local hospital. I can set my hours according to how I feel, and I am giving back to the community. Just an idea. Bless.

Paul, I take your latest news as a positive sign. The blood markers were lower than the last time, and the scan didn't show any hot spots. I agree that you need to keep your mind busy now on subjects other than medical. Having been limited by options the past year must have been extremely frustrating. You are a very intelligent and compassionate man who needs something to stimulate the senses and be productive. I hope you find the appropriate niche to fulfill your days and make you happy. With all my heart, I want you to be content with the present and happy that it looks like you won't have to confront the option of VAD at this time. Hugs of caring and support... ❤

Great to see your spirits are SO improved…. In this circumstance it’s great to not follow the norm, and be the odd one out.
Maybe you could meet up with fellow cancer buds and have mini adventures that are within all your limits - creating a routine and rhythm to your week. That helps me cope with how I feel at times, my days can merge (I live in the UK and live with my adult children - both have additional needs)…. None of us know how much time we have or haven’t got, If I’m up there before you I’ll have the kettle on for you…
