Wow finally found what I’m looking for. I have jig para micro standard 10 gram, the hook is super weak. Can’t find hook to replace. What hook size should I replace it with so it can strong enough to take big fish? What is your favorite jig of all these if you were to pick one?

Thanks Zoof! 👍well presented. What is the cash outlay required for someone starting off slow pitch jigging? The cost of all the terminal tackle mentioned as well 3 to 4 lures to start with. Thanks bud! 💪

      That's a very good question!
The Kingfisher Bonnie and Slider jigs 10g and 15g sell for around R20-R25
The Tsurinoya Arrow 7g sells for around R75
The Blu2798 slow pitch jigs 15g are around R70
The Zombie Lures Z-Slow 20g comes rigged with BKK doubles and single assist hooks on each lure for R100 a pop (value for money)
      The terminal are as follows:
Janker Tuff Steel Pear Rings are R45 for 12 pieces
The Kamatsu split rings are R35 for 10 pieces
The BKK Joint Combat assist hooks are R120 for a pair
The BKK Shore Patrol assist hooks are R120 for a pair
An affordable option for assist hooks would be the Trident Single and Double assist hooks that go for around R50 for a pair each

      My recommendation would be:
      1 x Tsurinoya Arrow 7g
      1 x Kingfisher Slider 10g

      1 x Kingfisher Bonnie spoon 10g
      1 x Kingfisher Bonnie spoon 15g
      1 x Zombie Lures Z-Slow 20g
      1 x Blu2798 Slow-Pitch jig 15g (silver glow)
      Approximate Cost = R325
      Terminal Tackle:
1 x Janker Tuff Steel Pear Rings size 4 (12 pcs)
      1 x Kamatsu split rings size 3.5 (10 pcs)
1 x Trident single assist hooks (pair)
1 x BKK Shore Patrol double assist hooks (pair)
      Approximate cost = R245
