YESSSS i am so excited to hear you got directional hearing back! My SSNHL hit two years ago and the most irritating thing for me is lack of directional hearing, so i'm pumped to learn i might get it again. Activation in one week, fingers crossed
I’m scheduled for CI surgery August 5th. I’ve had single sided deafness since 2022, so I’m very much looking forward to having that directional hearing again and being able to understand people’s speech better.
Interested in this as well as my husband is having big problems with tinnitus and will be getting right side hearing aid and left side implant.... hoping these will help limit "noise" in his head.

People those who have both tinnitus and hearing loss, is this surgery useful for them or not ?
Did you have tinnitus? If yes, did it go away after implant? Musician here having surgery in a month. So many questions 😢
