If you have another stock radio on hand or another receiver from a better radio that handles multiple receivers, this is a must upgrade for this truck. I found this brushed ESC that handles motors from 390 on down. Plus it has lipo (up to 3s!) and NIMH mode to handle any type of battery you want to put in. On top of that, it's $10. I still need to add weight to the front of the truck to make it a better climber. I'm also looking soon to put some better budget shocks on. For $30 you can upgrade the ESC and shocks and make this a very good crawler. Thanks for watching and see you soon on the next video!
Thanks Ruflasto. I ordered this ESC a little while ago and I just got around to putting it in. Lots of room inside the truck for it and once I tweaked the center point of the throttle trim, the reverse worked much better. Thanks for watching and I got in mind some new shocks for this. What length did you put on yours? I'm thinking 90mm.
