Love the berm and her patio. It flows nicely from patio to berm. The variety of plants is well done!! The patio...What a great place to entertain, enjoy morning coffee or hang out with a favorite book!
Michelle it's fabulous I chanced upon your channel a couple of weeks ago and I think you're awesome, great content and very enjoyable I love your enthusiasm too, PS I also have hair like yours which frizzes up when it gets damp!! Looking forward to the cottage garden I'm in England and in the process of making a cottage garden with lots of pollinating plants its a work in progress, my big passion and hobby is gardening wonderful!
Wow! Great job! What a beautiful little shady nook under the tree for gathering. Nice job on the berm! Im Considering a berm also as we have alotta wet spots on our property. We're at the base of Blue mountain Pa zone 6. A berm is the only solution I can come up with to prevent stagnant water. I may need some tips from you when I get started! Ha ha
A raised berm full sun can be a challenge for a person who wants low maintenance. Especially if there is no drip. The nature of a berm raises the plant roots and extra 3 feet above the natural water table. Shrubs and evergreens can handle this. but flowers struggle. The ones I like are Shasta Daisies, Columbine and Autumn Joy Sedum. These are the top three to start with and then build on their success with roses and Spring bulbs. If you have great results don't rush the berm by planting too much too soon. The berm dirt needs to settle. All those microbes need to calm down if the dirt is fresh from a compost seller. The dirt temp can get super hot the first year. I enjoyed watching this project! Nicely done.
Looks absolutely beautiful! I would find a large pot and plant some beautiful colorful annuals and place it on top of the flat stump! Instant pop of color and height! 🌺🌺🌺
Stellar Job Michelle and crew!! Looks spectacular!! You definitely have a vision of what it will look like in the future as it grows. As the years pass, it will look even more spectacular! Awesome selection of plants needing minimal care. The outcropping looks phenomenal! You're hired!!! lol
Michelle, I haven't been following you very long, but what I have seen, I have enjoyed. The patio for your client is beautiful, BUT THE BERM IS AMAZING 🤩. YOU PICKED PERFECT COLORS, AND I EVEN LIKE THE LARGE TREE TRUNK. AMAZING, I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT. THANK YOU FOR SHARING WITH US. TAKE CARE.
I love the height of the burn. It will be cozy once things have grown. The only thing I feel it is out of place is that bench on top of the burn. There is no path going to it. making it uninviting. Maybe it would be better having a large container with flower or a vine growing in it, or a statue, or some type of water fountain. otherwise it looks beautiful. Great job!
Gorgeous yard! Just found your channel and I love it. I am a California native living in northwest Montana and finding it challenging to grow in zone 5 with deer in our yard daily. You have given me HOPE, lol, that I too can have a beautiful garden with careful planning. Thanks so much.
Incredible. The stone is a huge commitment of effort and expense, but it's a great element! I can see how it will look when it fills in. Terrific makeover!
The berm turned out beautiful, I love it all, the tree is awesome, the plant choices and colors are so incredible. Great job, I’m sure your friend will be over the moon. Thanks for sharing
Hi I’m mike zone 7b outside huntsville Alabama in a place called Arab but wanted to say love your channel it’s great your very energenic Love workin in my yard I’m planting it up I planted bananas canna Lilly elephant ear and angels trumpets today they grow like weeds here but I enjoy your garden style it’s fun to watch I’ll keep watching here we got a 8 month growing season but can plant hardy plants year round ground dosent freeze here
This looks fantastic. Could you put a lattice fence in to hide those weeds. If the neighbor let the weeds get that tall, they won't do anything about them.

LOVE the berm! So pretty. Please post an update on the berm in Sept/Oct. Bet it will be awesome!
I will try...if not definitely next year!
Wow, everything looks fantastic. I know that your client is thrilled. Thank you for sharing all of the steps it took to create this beautiful garden.
My pleasure, I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Oh the bench in the berm, such a sweet sitting spot when you just need a few minutes in the garden. ❤

Great idea!! I wish that stump was flat though....it's not
My thinking as well on how to deal with the stump.
@@gardeningTLCIs it so bad that you couldn't shim it where needed?

great sharing my friend
I love the stump left as part of the hardscape element...maybe hens and chicks can be grown on it, too!
I'm sure she will do something, she is pretty creative herself.
Beautiful!! Love it ❤
Thank you! 😊
Great job.
Beautiful

Not allowed. This is a condo and fences against HOA rules.
That’s beautiful! Will you come to NH? 😎
I wish!
Amazing job! Looks fantastic! Does anybody know name or source for the girl garden statue near back yard patio entrance?
That was a find at an antique auction..so sorry I do not know the source
Love it! Would you come up to the southern part of WI?
No..sorry
Yes yes yes so good❤
