Hi, I played Forza Horizon 4 in Steam before, but then my Steam account got hacked, lately I thought I can still play my old progress with my Xbox account, so I bought it in Microsoft store with the account I played Forza Horizon 4 in. However, after I opened the game it didn't showed any error, but I just need to start all over again. The progress of Forza Horizon 4 is still in Xbox, I can still see it. Is there any way to solve this problem?
Did you sign in to that same Microsoft account on the Steam version if the game? Or is it a different account

I loading into Forza Horizon 5 then it ask me to save in to a newer or older version then i clicked the newer version then i started from scratch but when i went to my xbox to play it on there i was on the newer safe, i want to get all my progress back like before on my xbox how do i do this please help as soon as possible

I have the same issue, I always play in my Xbox, but I have the game pass and I try use in my pc so I installed in my pc, when I try to play my progress is broken and start like a new profile I really want my progress back I spent so many years in this game

Sorry it took me so long to respond, i just now checked back on the video, If you buy FH5 in the Xbox you would have had to bought it in PC Through the Microsoft store and login to the same account, otherwise you have to restart
I deleted forza horizon 5 on game pass when i downloaded it it reseted my progress what do i do

the xbox cloud system is a fucking joke. the game crashed on syncing for my new pc and when it restarted i lost everything. tried on my other pc and it was gone also. apparently it synced and empty save when it crashed and instantly uploaded it to the cloud overwriting my DAYS of progress. i will never play this game again not starting over
That sucks man, I honestly wouldn't even try to contact Microsoft Support, they are absolutely useless, I got my account hacked and had every single detail about it and gave it to them, 2 Original emails, phone number, 3 original passwords, and the new email, yet they still didn't give me access back

I got my progress back except for the DLCs, they are in my garage but it says i need to rebuy them to use the car... any ideas?
Maybe try purchasing the dlc again but don't have to money on the card to actually buy it and see if Microsoft realises you already have the DLC, that's all I can think of

Make sure you login to the same Microsoft account from your other pc/xbox

I got for PC now I want to transfer with my save to Xbox
Use the sane Microsoft account and the progress should transfer, make sure you download the Xbox app on your pc and login and launch the game first, that should work, tell me if it doesn't
