this is going to hurt is actually a non-fiction about working in the nhs, i've heard it's very emotional to pls don't go into thinking it's a quick easy thriller haha! xx
No haha, I completely get that now🤣 I added it to my wishlist the second I heard about it but it was early last year so I completely forgot what it was. Straight after filming this video I remembered and was like UGH! 🤣 thank you!!.,
It’s okay I have 225 unread. I think my main problem is that I hold onto them telling myself that I will read them when realistically I’ve probably ‘outgrown’ them so to say.
Don't be intimidated by The Book Thief! Even though it's long, it's quite a fast read. Definitely not challenging ~ I read it for the first time in middle school.
I'm doing 3 simultaneous reading challenges to help me read more of my physical tbr and backlist: a rainbow challenge (reading books of a particular color based on the cover), ABC challenge (matching the first letter of a title to the alphabet) and of course goodreads. So far, it's going good
Great amount of books there, never feel guilty or bad that you have a large number on TBR. Good amount of books I have read myself and others that are on my own TBR shelves. I currently have 291 books TBR on my shelves, but i will continue to buy more as books are my happy place.
Remove the books you are reluctant to read, that you dread and feel guilty about. That feeling should not be part of your reading experience. Let yourself say no to those books. They will still be available in the future of you change your mind. I think I have about 250 physical books, but I committed to unhauling 100 this year whether read or not. I've already removed 25 and read 20.
I 100% agree! Most of these books I do want to get to, but I do think there’s some that I bought a few years ago that I’ve outgrown or I’m no longer interested in so I might do a separate ‘unhaul’ video where I get rid of a few 💘
I don’t have a physical tbr but have loads on my book shelf which is small then have shelf’s above that which is about 3 shelf’s I can each plus another 2 I can reach other side . And about 4’to 5 dust storage bags full have loads of books as just love books . Some of your vlogs inspired tomorrow to get some from the works hopefully they will have the ones . Kept meaning to get and I haven’t yet
I never read books that are super hyped up - so I can't blame you for avoiding Powerless and Sarah J Mass. I only just recently read The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo for the same reasons. I also really need to stop picking up entire series - because I get them, sit with them happily, and then...don't read them...

*cries with 350+ unread books on my physical tbr* 🙃
350+ OMG!!!!! Good luck😭😭😭

If it's a sickness, lock everyone of us up....with our books....on an island and all we'll be able to do is eat and read. Sounds like Heaven.

Such a good idea. xx
I am pretty sure I am a book addict aswell. I can’t stop buying books aswell xx
It really is addictive 😂
I want to film mine too… but it’s nearing 500 and I just can’t bring myself to do it 😅😂😅
500 is CRAZY. half way to being an official library! (not me encouraging you to buy more🤭)
I only have 63 books on my physical TBR but we’re not going to talk about my kindle lol

the addicted series is one of my fav ever so I think I’ll love the magnolia parks series bc of that lol, I understand ur logic girl
i Adored the Sanatorium and when i finished i jumped on to the sequel immediately, which i usually never do. Main character is relatable.
Unpopular opinion: it doesn't matter if you start with Assassin's blade or Throne of Glass, you'll have FOMO of the other way regardless 😂
Omg the book thief is my ultimate favourite of all time, it’s such a beautiful book and I hope you enjoy it when you get to it 🩵
I’m glad you love it! I’m so nervous for it🥹
@@ellarose.readss don’t be nervous it’s a beautiful book, but expect it to be heavy and sad also
OMG I just counted my physical TBR and it is 188 books!!!

I have the girl on the train on my TBR as well… have been there for years… 🙈
I’m reading the Gold Rush series by Elise Silver really enjoying it
I’m so glad! It’s one of my most anticipated series!💖
the fact that I find 130 reasonable is big concern for my own physical tbr (last I checked it was around 180😭)
Omg HAHAHA! I read just over 100 books last year so in my head I’m like “ugh… this is like a year and a bit’s worth of reading’😭😭😭
If it makes you feel any better, I have a digital TBR of over 2000 😂
WOW
189 unread physical books on my tbr says my GR 🙈 And i want to read them all so badly, but i can't read 189 at once 🤣
I have no clue how many unread books are on my shelves 😂
This is Going to Hurt is non-fiction written by a junior doctor. Whilst his books are apparently good, Adam Kay is not so much.
GIRL YOU HAVE TO READ POWERLESS I BEG
