      @@MTDCNC I can confirmed you can attach tools directly if your with in the tolerance

    Can recomend them, we measured runout of about 2 microns and im not sure if that is the holder or spindle :)
    Only downside is the collets are abit expensive.

    The most common thing that happens after I introduce shops to these tools? They try them, and then they call to ask to get more.

    Hes wrong about one flute cutting on ER. He must mean an end mill holder

      You will find on many ER's that the cutter is 'off centre' and essentially cuts on 33-50% less flutes.

      @@MTDCNC if you have a radial engagement of .003 per tooth then your "off center" would need to be more than .003 in order for one flute to be cutting all the load correct?
