Yes and no; the idea is the same, however hydraulic sleeves are typically made to tighter standards and tolerances than the milling chuck sleeves are. Due to the nature of milling chucks, TIR tends to be the least of your issues when you're making a pass. However, with hydraulic holders, TIR is a huge factor in it being a more higher performance system and thus every micron counts; especially when adding a sleeve!
@@REGOFIX I don't understand, we all have Power grip chucks, since we have to buy new chucks for a new machine, do these hydraulic chucks have better features than the Power grips?
