I don't crochet a lot well not really at all, I'm working on the square. But mine is kinda wavy, am I doing something wrong? Can u give me a few hints how I can make it flat, like your?
Hi Julia, I've followed your tutorial and I must first of all say a heartfelt thank you. I have a question, the pattern in yours looks neat n well defined but mine doesn't and I would like to know why?
My square begins to warped after a certain amount of rows. The stitches all match and it’s the correct amount of increases per row. Anyway suggestions? I’m trying a larger hook size now to see if that’s the problem.
A certain deformation of a square with a large number of rows is allowed. As an example you can watch my tutorial about crocheting a rectangle (ua-cam.com/video/nTkAhwonZfQ/v-deo.html) where in the end of the video you can see that my rectangle isn't flat and it can be easily fixed by doing wet-heat treatment. And there is also a tutorial about crocheting a square basket (ua-cam.com/video/erBMJ3D_1Es/v-deo.html), where the size of the square base is bigger than in this square tutorial and it's not flat before the wet-heat treatment either. But if your square warps too much and you are sure that there are no crochet mistakes, then maybe your stitches are too tight.
My only struggle is how big the loop on the hook should be !! If I make it too tight It curls over the shape and if it's too big I'm afraid to lose its shape
Well, it's the matter of practice. Just crochet more and more and with time your stitches will become good. And also remember that it's important to make all stitches the same size.
I can't share it because it's not some international store, their website doesn't have English and they don't send it to other countries. And also I buy it in offline shops in my city. So that's why I made it possible for all of you to order this yarn through me on my Instagram. There is a link to my Instagram on my channel.
Hey, Carrie. Not sure what yarn she uses, but I use t-shirt yarn a lot and Bobilon is the best I have found. It is top quality. You can get it on Amazon in 4 different sizes all available in lots of different colors. It may seem a bit pricey but the cakes are huge. Hope this helps!!!
I'm making a square basket and this is by far the best pattern I've come across for a base (as well as your rectangle and oval ones). Thank you!
Happy to hear that :)

Maybe you made some mistakes while crocheting. Also if your stitches have different sizes and tightness it could cause problems too.

What exactly is the problem? What does look wrong?
How big can I make this? Trying to make a floor cushion with sides
You can make as many rows in your square as you want

Hi what is the brand of your hook? I cant seem to find an aluminum hook with rubber handle.
Unfortunately I don't know the brand🤷🏼♀️
@@CrochetwithJulia how many yarns for this square?
It seems to me that it is Knitpro hook. I have exactly the same.
Would you please make a tutorial how to make a bag
I have just posted recently my first tutorial about how to crochet a bag😊

My yarn doesn’t seem as good of a quality as yours. Do you mind sharing a link to where you buy your yarn?

😍😍
Mine doesn't turn out flat :(
What happens to your square? And at what stage of crocheting?
@@CrochetwithJulia I went from hook size 7 to 9 and it's good now :)
@@ΧρύσαΑφ 😊Maybe you crocheted too tight. Try not to make the stitches too tight and make sure that the yarn tension is the same for each stitch.
@@CrochetwithJulia thank you :)
😔😔😔
It looks crooked in the middle..i get annoyed
