This video is great! It is a pity that most of the loco hauled fleet will disappear soon, but at least it isn’t like we are just going to ride VLocitys in the next 30 years.... Generally, I will miss the locomotives.
Loco-hauled passenger services - Even in the first 5 or so years of Newcastle's electrified service, there were trains made up of vintage carriages hauled by electric, and the occasional diesel loco, until enough second-hand electric rolling stock could be freed up to use on the Newcastle-to-Sydney run.... Newly-built sets running north of Gosford? Hell no! Can't be giving those Newcastle peasants anything that good(Liberal State Government thought processes).
Your comment was so serious and it was so funny to see you say Newcastle peasants lol. I'm not saying that Newcastle aren't peasants or that they are but it was a funny comment
I'm a huge fan of the N-Class fleet, always an ambition of mine to drive that some day i just hope they aren't phased out by then!
I'm a fan of any diesel stuff. That's what I grew up with. I don't think I'll be driving an N class loco any time soon either.
Very marvellous video indeed! I especially love all the 6 car vlocity services!
Thanks alot 😀😀
Nice video. Liked all the angles you managed to get. I used Sunshine Station for 40 years so it was good to see it again.
Thanks for watching. I enjoyed putting this together.

That's true but the efficiences in the Vlos have saved many lines that would not have been viable with loco hauled as well
Yeah, hence the reason I wrote done generally.
I was once a founding team member of a group of gunzells who used to train watch at sunshine between 1981-1996
The good old days!
@@Schony747 exactly right plenty of B,C,A,X ,S classes
Great video
Thanks Mate!
Nice to see A66 make a comeback.
It's now in Bendigo stored and unlikely to work for V/Line again.
The V/ Line trains the V train is the best!
At least while we have locomotive hauled stuff.
Great
Thanks!
I find sometimes those velocity’s struggle when they try to accelerate
They can be loud that's for sure.
Sunshine Station! What a nice name. Wouldn't it be funny if it was raining.
Sunshine is probably the worst suburb in Melbourne

And the mentality of the Liberal Government still hasn't changed in NSW!
And not likely to change any time soon!
