I disagree. I actually enjoyed KSP 2 a lot, and genuine improvements were being made to the game. For Science was very fun, and progress looked good until Take 2 decided to lay off everyone.
RIP to annotations, I get why UA-cam removed them but they're fun as hell. I have an extension that restores them, since all UA-cam did was disable them, not remove them from the video data
Oh man, that sound brings back memories.. There was this thing ham radio operators would do (maybe they still do it), like once a week, or maybe every day? Where they'd transmit image data through radio signals. They'd all have a little chat with eachother, then take turns transmitting an image that way. My dad used to have a lot of fun with that. I don't think this sound was 'that', but it sounds very similar to it. EDIT: Just read the comments, I guess that IS what it was, to an extent! Cool! I feel kinda proud that I recognized it.
Ham radio operators still do it to this day, common frequencies are 7.171Mhz and 14.230Mhz. This is the short "black white 12 second mode", most people use the scottie modes. Source: Me, I time to go punish my Icom 7300's finals 😎
I'm watching through Danny's videos again, and for the first time ever I decided to use the playlist...and I had never ever seen this before! What the heck!
Had a foray into satcomms not too long ago, I heard the sound and immediately knew what to do. Impressive how well just playing this video on my phone next to my laptop's microphone worked
This (I think) is some sort of image, in the form of audio. I saw a video by scott manley that said something about CCTV units and space, and how this is what they sounded like and that there are decoders out there for your computer. I still need to find one, but it does sound like a cctv image to me.
For anyone wondering what the description means, if you reverse the order the characters appear in: REVDT0RFIFRSQU5TTUlTU0lPTiBXSVRIIEFOIFNTVFYgUFJPR1JBTQ== And then decode it from Base64, it states: DECODE TRANSMISSION WITH AN SSTV PROGRAM
here is the scan from MMSSTV: imgur.com/0ifPkaG Also, the code in the description, reversed and then decoded through base64, says: "DECODE TRANSMISSION WITH AN SSTV PROGRAM"
It’s for a video released about 10 years ago. Re-uploaded, since it was privated due to the clues leading up to it being deleted (annotations) Also, not minecraft, surprisingly.
Video was originally made for a video called “Karrim On Duty.” I’ve been watching literally every Danny video from first to now, and Karrim was a stunt-kerbal who died in a tragic drop-box accident into the ocean. His fans (And Danny) wanted him back, so Danny proceeded to copy and paste Karrim’s code back in. The video ABOUT 10 years old, by now. I will post ANOTHER reply, do NOT hit “read more” if you want to watch it.
READ MORE FOR SPOILERS ON: “Karrim On Duty” As stated above, Karrim was re-built. Several things happened, like a test mission to destroy tech in the desert (which was INCREDIBLY advanced, definitely), and then the ‘enemy’ snuck on the KSP’s launch pad. Karrim proceeded to ram a plane into the rocket, destroying it. Then came the “Evil Terrible Space Station” that was destroyed by Karrim as well. (He returned by a Mass Driver this time.) Then they got mad, and threw Gilly at Kerbin. Karrim sacrified himself to destroy Gilly with the planet-buster, and truly died. Achievement gained: “World’s Best Hero.” R.I.P Karrim (clone), you’ll be missed. 😭
un-classified, cuz this video is basically unreachable since annotations were removed
awesome
if you thought this was a new kirrim video's thing, no, sorry, I have accidentally trolled you, this was for Kirrim on Duty
LOL, you did troll us good. i was wondering why the comments are 10y old
ye this really came out of the blue cause I had entirely missed it. Still pretty neat :)
kirrim on duty was great
I immediately realized this was a coded image because of the Portal 2 easter egg.
You were quite early to this video... 🤔
How did you make your time machine lmao
We thought we were getting something new, but instead it was just a confusing re-release of code from a decade ago.
But enough about KSP2.

Are you sure the extension isn't using a scraped database? I'd be genuinely surprised if youtube kept that data around.
@@goeiecool9999 Nah, they just removed client side access. All uploads are preserved, even on obscure videos. At least, to my knowledge 👍
Thats so money. Thanks, I don't know if I ever would've known that without this comment!

SSTV signals for the win!
EDIT A DECADE LATER: I have been inexplicably struck by a nostalgic desire to play some more KSP1.
u have somehow found the somehow found
This classified info is really for "Kirrim on Duty"
I wonder if Danny has any more secret videos?
nope, like actually not, I swear, I think, maybe a few extras idk remind me in another 10 years to check
wait, 10 years ago?

It'd be funny if you re-classified this so it'd seem like it was just a small group hallucination that happened twice

Probably something encoded in the sound, but hey, funky beat!
Am I on some kind of watch list now?

The same way the mangle in Five Nights at Freddy's 2 says "it's me" if you put it in to a cctv decoder?
I think so. I just couldn't find a software decoder to do it. It just sounds very similar.
***** Nah, its an SSTV. Mangles radio has nothing to do with it, as its actually a distorted RTTY 75W with some random mistuned radio bits in there.
I ran it through a decoder and it says=

This is from a pyramid easter egg. I think. Maybe it's the magic boulder? One of the many KSP easter eggs.
Er... ...?!
Danny is being naughty again... ...
imagine if you re-find Danny from this
Thats an SSTV (B/W 12 coding), S.A Kirrim is going to be reconstructed
YES
it had happened
Anyone knows an sstv program that doesn't look like it will infect every device in 5 kilometer radius after running it?
I personally use QSSTV on linux, on windows I believe people go for MMSSTV_YONIQ.
Having this resurface after all this time... What could it mean?
Couldnt have said it better myself
no, SSTV is audio based. There is programs for it, I however never did this before.
SSTV B/W 24 "Agent Profile, S.A Kirrim - KIA -Body recovered Status -Reconstructing
ETA Sooner or later"
Was it a spectogram image? I remember Frontier does the same with some Thargoid transmissions.
I feel like this is some SSTV.

I'm attempting to run this through RX-SSTV and see if I can get anything out of it.
S.A. Kirrime will make a revenge... And kill us, with his Mainsail+SRB powered cars(?).

RX-SSTV. It's the most used one, and it is free.
