I agree! I think it’ll be fun to see these properties fully fleshed out and I think it’s great for more accessible and family friendly entertainment in a park that doesn’t have much for little little kids.
I’d expect that themed land to be called “DreamWorks Destination” or “DreamWorks KidZone” with plenty of rides, shows, and play areas themed to various DreamWorks Animation properties! There should be more family-friendly rides that should add capacity like a carousel, a teacup spinner, a couple of dark rides, and a couple more spinner rides!
I think if they had more room they would go all in on that idea because so many of these properties have worlds that beg to be explored. The space constraint is the main reason why we’re not seeing too many larger attractions, unfortunately.
Seems like a kidz zone with a DreamWorks filter + more meet-and-greets. That's fine, it's for the smaller kids who will have not much to do in the park otherwise I get its inclusion, but I remember hearing a Pokemon pitch for there and I personally wish we got that instead. But that's just me probably
Pokémon would be great, although I’d prefer it in a larger space like maybe an Epic Universe expansion plot or even if Toon Lagoon ever gets a refresh. I do know that second one could be a bit controversial though 🫣
@@DreamportProductions yeah, I can see that happening. The thing is, it would allow a Nintendo property to be at each park. Mario at Epic Universe, Pokemon at Studios, and (what may happen) Zelda replacing the lost continent. I'm not saying (nor do I know) Zelda would replace it, just saying it would be pretty likely depending on the response to Nintendo land
I hope they keep or build out a really nice water play area. There is no other place in Studios where parents can let their kids cool off. The Curious George water play area was never advertised and most parents missed it.
I’m excited for this. I know this is wishful thinking but I would love I’d like to see them a Shrek Roller Coaster which would be a less intense version of Hagrid’s at IOA and an indoor Kung Fu Panda boat ride in the future.
AGREED!! I used to watch the Madagascar cartoon with my kids and that show had me cracking up non-stop between Skipper and his one-liners and King Julien's antics. I actually went and got a photo with Skipper when they had the meet n greet going on. And I am not ashamed one bit!
I would love to see a show where you talk to donkey, similar to Turtle talk with Crush. As a way to pay homage to the old meet and greet area. Also, I hope this coaster will come here! ua-cam.com/video/YqF4MQwAndg/v-deo.html
I will be disappointed if they don’t add the KFP rides from Beijing to this land. I hope there is like a little TV if kids are to little for the big rides they can sit and watch Ghost of Lord Farquaad.
This new land could have a lot of potential if Universal plans this well.

Yep. I agree with that.
@@DreamportProductions Me too!
Everyone is talking about Shrek but most of us don’t have an idea of how popular Gabby’s playhouse is
This is true.

Pokemon would be an awesome IP to replace the Simpsons area if the rights to that aren't continued
If they add boss baby to it then I’m not coming.

I think it definitely is a project they’ll keep expanding on so that could happen…
@@DreamportProductions What makes you think that?
Bro Madagascar is slept on damn I’m mad
I have to agree with you.

I don’t think that coaster would come this go around but maybe if they ever expand it…🤔
new plans

Unfortunately due to the space, I don’t think they will add those but I hope that whatever they do add is on a similar level theming wise.
