♥ Holan the wolf (97%) can't resist Christopher & his necklace filled with essential oils (notably Eucalyptus), so he rubs, licks, nibbles, and loves all over him! :P I couldn't hold back my silly laughter. He even tries to steal the necklace through his shirt! Christopher is a good friend of mine and Tonya Littlewolf, so he took me to her wonderful sanctuary! I was overjoyed to meet Holan, Tonya, and everyone there. :) They are truly incredible people and animals, so if you live anywhere in the state of California, I highly suggest visiting! ♥

It doesn't matter if they're domesticated or wild.
All doggos are good boys.
This wolf is not wild anymore, he is domesticated. His 'puppies' will be more friendlies with human and after a few generations you got wolves who can be pets.

Recently a physical education teacher was attacked by his own pitbull in my country and lost both of his arms.

I had a wolf when I was a child, she had 3 pup's but 2 were still born and only one survived. Her maternal instinct was still for 3 pup's so in a way my sister and I became her pup's she loved us like we were pup's too ( me most of all) so when people ask me if I was raised by wolves due to some of my personality I always tell them "yeah, literally." and walk away laughing.

Kajex Surnahm If it were possible I'd buy one and have it as a pet, because they are so loving and loyal. Also to prove to the nay-sayers that Wolves are not all dangerous beasts that attack people.
I was at a wolf sanctuary once… one of the wolves stole someone’s hat. By the time they got it back, it had been torn to shreds lol. Then someone proposed in front of the pack, and the whole pack howled! It was a pretty awesome coincidence.
The love nips are adorable but they don't realize we get hurt by what seems like really gentle teefs
At the end of day , it doesn't matter how big you are , how ferocious you are , a dog will always be a dog.

Of course not ,a Wolf is a Wolf,he tolérate us if they are in constant human contact and someone who hnow them if not they ATTACK you because you're in them territory ,in nature they kill intruders,you need lot of Time to approach Wolf pack

Totally i believe that. I believe God literally created them to be able to live with humans in harmony. Theres not one animal i havent seen show love to humans given the proper care and attention.

Not really some animals are just WILD. regardless for example; Lion/tigers.. no matter how loving you are to them you couldn't know if they will kill you randomly or attack you out of nothing... Because it's inside them the nature..
@@zorashki not true about lions. There countless examples of lions doing very well around people who saved them or work with them. One popular example is lion whisperer

Don't know about wolves, but arctic and primitive dog breeds do that tooth thing too. I've mainly tried to remind them, 'gentle teeth'. They know what they are doing :)

+DeepSea climber There are really cool wolf sanctuaries all over the states! A couple in Colorado, a couple in CA, Montana, Pennsylvania...they might be closer to you.
Chelsea Arganbright Yea I've done a bit of research. Colorado is where i'm from originally, I visited the one in Divide and it was fantastic. Out east though, I just havn't been able to find many places. I'm stuck in Norfolk, VA for 2 more years. May just have to be patient haha

The first guy speaking is mistaken about the scent-rubbing... wolves/dogs don't rub to 'claim.' Cats do that, but for wolves/dogs the motive is different -- they scent rub to collect scents on their coat which they find interesting. If you've ever wondered why dogs roll on nasty stuff like carcasses or poop, this is the reason why.

Practically an induction ceremony! Is this wolf the leader? I'm new here so don't know the particulars yet. Obviously the human is seen as a "friendly" . I'm thinking that is a good thing when meeting a wolf up close and personal. Beautiful dog.
I have a very playful dog and if I can get him to calm down like that I can easily get along with a wolf and I have a Blue heeler breeded with lab dk how but it jus happend 🤣

Yes it’s useful for getting rid of ticks and fleas in their coat during pack grooming, it’s just this one here doesn’t know any better that humans don’t have thick fur to cushion the bites.

I know teaching them to not use teeth is the best way to do this but I wander if you could teach them to just be gentler with humans but still do their love bite behavior... Probably not a good idea but I think it would help form closer bonds.
Sleep with them then you are part of the pack total unconditional trust they will give there life for you unlike people I would rather be with wolf sheperd then the rest of the world
