14 August is a chance for people to come out of their homes in droves. As suggested by Waqar Malik, everyone should wear a black arm band as a mark of silent protest against what is happening in the country---without fear of arrest. No naras, no disturbance of any kind. ONLY GATHERINGS IN EVERY STREET CORNER TO SING THE NATIONAL ANTHEM. Have no fear!You can't be beaten up or arrested for wearing black arm bands, for singing the national anthem on 14 August along with your 'mohalla walas' !!!

Also the reality on why we are fearful is that we have attached ourselves to this temporary world and it's materialism and thereby lost at least weakened our connection with our Lord and creator Allah SWT. Until we re-establish this connection, we will remain scared of these devils instead of our creator.
