The Urdu, Punjabi, Sindhi, etc. which you are speaking are also derived from ancient Sanskrit with some Persian and Arabic influence.. for example the word 'andā'(egg) in Urdu/Hindi is from Sanskrit word अंड् (anda) which also means egg. Also the name Punjab, Sindh are from Sanskrit..for example: the Punjab name is Panj+ aab, Panj~panchya(in sanskrit)~pach=5 and 'aab' ~aap(in sanskrit)= water , so the meaning becomes ' the land of 5 waters or rivers'. You both are very perceptive and quite open to understanding the history of Bharat. Just a small point - people of your country were Indians at one point ( before 1947). Every Muslim in India if they trace their roots ( to Mughal times or before) had a HINDU lady. Islam came to India and those soldiers or invading armies came as men only. They took Hindu wives and converted them and that's how Indian muslim population began and grew.
