Eternal law or Dharma. They had to open their dictionaries to in order get the meaning of the words he delivered djring speech as they weren't aware.. We treat everyone as our brothers and sisters and everyone from all coners of the world belong to one family.. Hinduism is not a religion instead is set of principles which we have to follow in our daily life which are laid down by our sages but it Britishers who had said that it is a religion and also they are the one who had divide by following divide and rule policy. Religions were created later in history when spirituality was mixed with sociology and hence they are different in different societies... The word hindu and India were coined by foreigners when they invaded Bharat..

Hazekah, you are very observant and intelligent. Yes, all people were not Swamiji's friends. They werre totally unknown to him and had alteady thought down upon him. They were all champions of their own religions. And yet while each religion reaches good, none of them says the whole world is a family. Since Sanatan Dharm is the oldest religion, all other religions are derived from it and convey mostly the same messages in their own way. That's why Swamiji was able to impress everyone because he conveyed things from the master religion in an undiluted way.

He was a deciple of Shri Shri Ramkrishna Parhansadev. If anyone visit Kolkata 's Dakhsineswar temple will find their prayer spot. Belur Math is also very near and opposite to a river where Swamiji died.

Na Sanatan na Hinduism religion hai, Hindu identity hai jo Greek and european logon ne di hai meaning Sindhu river ke us paar rehne wale.
Sanatan means eternal ya humsea rehne wala. Religion ya mazhab kabhi start hota and khatam bhi ho jaata hai ya badal jaata hai.
Aapne sahi kaha, Dharm means duty hi hai, jise Rajdharm means Raja ka dharm nek niyat or apni aawam ki bhalai ke liye kaam kare, pita ka dharm apne bachhon ki sahi parvarish kare, Guru dharm apne students ko behtar and bina bhed bhaav ke taalim de.
Jise aap Sanatan bolte hain ye humare is universe ko samajhne ka or usse taalmel banane ki kosish hai.
