New time please review the bike and not the website for the company...and instead of telling us you think it can hit 45mph , test it and see if it can...I got absolutely nothing from this video that I couldn't find myself on their website
Thank you for leaving your thoughts, but the only way I can leave reviews of bikes I find interesting is if the company sends me it or or I buy tons of bikes. This is why this video is only a specs review and I state my thoughts and opinions as someone who has experience modifying e-bikes.
How the hell do you not test the speeds I mean your actually on the bike!! This was like a 7 minute commercial telling me to go to the website to learn more🤦🏻♂️
I ordered mine back on March 3rd. Shipment was suppose to be April 5th but they changed to late April. They keep adding new features on the website. At first it looked the same as the 52v a8.
@@Raspyrides no, originally they had 400 bikes to ship. I chose the black one and that's being delayed. Plus I'm going on vacation and won't be home. Hopefully when I'm back they'll have started the shipping.
Hey, Raspy! Is it harder to upgrade a dual-motor ebike (I mean, other than you have to replace 2 motors)? How did your buddies access the controller to adjust it? I have an AQ177 dual motor and I was wanting to fiddle with it.
i orderd the aq 177 dual motor and cant find reviews on it, i imagine it has the same electrical system as the A8 dual motor. nope it has a 45amp controller. 750 front, 1000 rear.
My Aniioki came with a slightly bent rack. I contacted customer service and they sent me a few free items. Other than that, the bike has been great with some modifications
I've been holding off buying another e-bike since it appears all the retailers are in a price war. E.g., with the current $200 website discount the price of the A8 on April 23, 2024, is $2700 (with free delivery). Here's my question RR: the A8 MAY BE better than the Meelod DK300 Max, but is it $1,100 better (DK300 Max is currently $1600). Your UNBIASED opinion RR would be appreciated. Do you know anything about Meelod, negative wise? P.S. I live in San Francisco, where traffic is so hazardous that when I get home I say to myself "Cheated death this time." With this in mind, going 45 mph would be lunacy. It is also impractical because we have stop signs and traffic signals every other block. Hard to go faster than about 35. So for me, a bike going 45 is not an important performance feature.
Hey I think the meelod is a great bargain bike for for commuting if you don’t have many hills but since your in SF, I’d have to go with the aniioki cause the dual motors will help you climb hills much more easily.
@@Raspyrides The DK300 MAX is a dual motor, dual battery bike. You are right about the hills. I have a Hanevear H100 which is also an AWD bike. It does well on the hills. The true test of these AWD bikes is riding up and around the hills to the Point Bonita lighthouse. (Check it out on Google Earth or Maps.) Between that and having to scale to hills to get home at the top of Nob Hill, one can see why I need the most powerful and long range e-bikes. I'm thinking on even the A* Pro Max I's still need to mount a large 2nd battery on the rear rack. (Or I could just not be riding out to Point Bonita and back. 🙂).
@@quantumfx2677 In 2018 I bought my first of five e-bike's. Now thinking of adding a sixth to the stable, possibly the AWD, dual battery Meelod DK300 MAX, etc. A few months ago I did a deep search of "complaint problems Meelod" and didn't find anything. So I was asking if anyone had any complaints, or knew about any complaints regarding Meelod products or its customer service. I'll add your response into the "no" category. Thanks!
Man I really like these bikes along with your videos. So much for the money but I heard the customer service is questionable. I’m gonna be honest I’m just getting started in this hobby I only bought 3 jetson pros(not really e bikes I know.😂) really want to mod these for range and a little bit of power or I’m just gonna purchase a “real e-bike.” Stay safe out there🤙🏽
@@yermailmain206 when buying any ebike from a company that’s not from the US, it’s usually a toss up of how customer service is. From what I hear, both companies have legendary customer support.
Something to understand, is the geared motors have plastic gears. With that in mind, you don't want to strain a solo motor. Better to keep it in dual mode.

True but all the other dual motor competition have even smaller batteries. I think it’s best to only use both motors when you really need that boost of speed. This way you can still have some decent range!
This might be my first e-bike. However, no interest in 40mph on a Chinese bike! Completely INSANE if you aren't going to gear up! 40 MPH on a motorcycle can kill you no problem. Just on count it's an ebike, physics doesn't know the difference, nor does death! More interest in hill climbing power vs. speed.
@Raspyrides Yes! Middle age dad belly needs to go. E bike is perfect! Pedal pedal pedal, but won't get discouraged with limited areas to ride. Those hills would kill me until I could work up to it. Even at that point, still rather not kill myself on hills. 😊
I think their new V7 coming out in a month is really good bang for buck with 35 mph top speed an 60ah battery for 2K. 3K for this is starting to get pricey.
Yea that is a great deal! Companies love slapping a 2nd motor on and up charging people lol. 3k is pricey but not as pricey as other bikes competing in that level of speed and range.
@@Raspyrides yeah i need 48v60ah or 72v40ah(both 3kw) for my travels. gyms and swimming spots are 20-30 miles from my house. I just wish that V7 with single motor could hit 40-45 mph. 35 mph is good economy but it's more just cruising than fast speed thrills.
