Nice job! Keep at it. So I see you said that you made your throttle curve for normal mode linear? I would highly recommend not doing that. So number one it is a governed ESC so the ESC is looking for a specific throttle input percentage and range that is why they tell you to only put the throttle to X amount of percent per Mode in the manual. The biggest reason you don’t wanna run a linear throttle curve in normal mode or really any mode is because as you advance to stick your head speed is going to jump up and down drastically. So if you noticed in your beginning of your flight you can hear the head speed drop and climb as you were falling and adding collective. Having that governed Normal mode that is recommended will give you a consistent head speed throughout your throttle range no matter the mode unless of course you’re at zero

The head speed in idle up 1 sounds the same as normal mode. It's amazing to see how well yours flies, as I went round and round and round with HH "customer support", even sent it back in to them, and they said it was fine. tried blaming where I was flying, and what I was flying off of (Painted cement floor) when ALL my other helis had no problems. Mine likes to just tip over while spooling up, and it flies all over the place when it does ...if it does, manage to take off. There's DEF something wrong with the radio if they say they had no issue. something in my programming. Watching this annoys me cuz I just KNOW there's some simple reason why mine's not flying properly. HH customer support and I have abandoned this issue, but I'm determined, after seeing how well yours flies, to try and figure it out. I have almost all the blade lineup, and have only had a similar issue with my Infusion 180 when I first got it, but a call, yes, a call in to HH back then resulted in an email with a program in it, which I put on the SD card, then loaded in to my radio, in it worked perfectly!
And yeah, your normal mode head speed should be 65, the 80 in idle up 1, then 100 in idle up 2, according to the manual. Just FYI.
You like that mechanical tail rotor..;)
kudos to the camera man too. Great flying. Now I'm on a serious mission to get mine workin' right.

Is the heli meant to keep altitude when in safe?.. mine wants to land and I have to keep nudging the throttle upwards to keep it back up in the air. If I bring the throttle down, the heli wants to land faster instead of gradually floating down almost as if there is a downward thrust. Why is this happening? This is happening on both the 180 infusion and 150s that I have right out of the box.

Hi, the SAFE does not have an altitude hold feature. Collective pitch helicopters are more sensitive to pitch as opposed to a fixed pitch models, so you really have to dance on the throttle stick to keep it level.

I am sure you can get a lot longer flight than those two... bet those batteries aren't even half empty after those flights.

Stock settings? My 180 just suffered a bent tail feathering shaft and tail blade scrapes...waiting on parts.

Everything stock programming except for Normal mode throttle curve. I went with a linear 0-25-50-75-100.
