hey Jomboy crew! Just wanted to draw attention to this month's sumo wrestling tournament. Midorifuji, the smallest and lightest Wrestler in the top division, is currently leading the title chase with 8 wins and 0 losses. Might be worth it to keep an eye on!
I wish he'd covered more of the 6 nations that just finished. He mentioned it once in one video, if a particularly good try Scotland scored. But a lot went on in the tournament. It's only the 4th grand slam Ireland have ever won before, and the first time they ever won it at home, in Dublin. I really hope he covers the rugby union World Cup later this year too. With Ireland being the best team on the planet at the moment, it's the perfect year to be in world class form. If they can keep it up, Ireland may win their first World Cup ever. I believe it'd be their first world cup in _ANY_ sport they've ever won, if they manage it. But France are the 2nd best team I the world right now, and the world cup is being hosted by them, in France, and so they will have home advantage, and so could end up winning _THEIR_ first rugby World Cup too.
I hope you get into rugby the same way you did cricket. Such a great sport with so much nuance to its play. Feel like it's ripe for a 'Rugby explained in (american) Football Terms' video
More rugby 7s!! Check out the Mens Canada vs South Africa game during the 2023 Vancouver tourney for a very rare fight, I didn't get what happened so would love a breakdown
That's inspirational! Remember folks, if you've been stuck in the dirt for a long time, well keep your chin up, because one day someone might chip you outta there!
jimmy please check out the 2023 Roofball World Championship. i'm sure you've been told about it before, but it seems right up your alley and this years championship had some fantastic plays
Thompson was an absolute beast in college. That’s when he only played field lacrosse and let me tell you, he and his brothers were mutants among mere men. I love lacrosse.
the Thompson clan was legit growing up. Also, it is funny how Thompson had the game winner against Albany. You know, since he played for the Albany Great Danes in college.
Rugby 7s is really fun because it's very fast paced, and the games are very short (only 7 minute halves, so a full game is only 14 minutes) which means multiple games are played on the same day and you can have an entire tournament in one weekend. But it's still not as good as proper rugby, i.e. Rugby union. The 6 nations just finished and was great fun to watch, especially if you're Irish, as they got only their 4th (I think?) grand slam ever, and the first one they ever clinched at home, in Dublin. A grand slam in the 6 nations tournament means you win every game, all 5 games against every opponent. Most years the winner of the 6 nations doesn't beat everyone, they usually have a loss against someone. But Ireland are the best team in the world in rugby right now. Which is a good time to start being the best, because the rugby union World Cup is later this year and it's very exciting. It's being hosted by France, and France are the 2nd best team in rugby right now. So they have home advantage. But we could see either, Ireland or France, winning their first ever world cup. But the southern hemisphere teams will have something to say about that. New Zealand are never not great. And you've got the current world champions South Africa to face. Not to mention Japan continue to get better and better at rugby. And Australia are always good. And England have been a bit crap in the 6 nations but they're usually very good in the world cup, they were runners up last time, so they're one to look out for. I'm half English half Welsh, but in Rugby I support Wales, cos of my dad being Welsh and loving rugby, and I've gone to see Wales play in Cardiff multiple times over the years. And Wales at the moment are all over the place, bloody terrible to be honest. So while I'd love Wales to beat the odds and win their first World Cup, there's basically no chance of that happening. There's so much trouble and strife behind the scenes, with the players threatening to go on strike, and so it's impossible to play well when the players have got that in the back of their minds. But I hope Americans take the opportunity to watch the rugby union World Cup this year. I think it's a sport they'd absolutely love. And the US are hosting a rugby World Cup 8 years from now, so not this one or the next one, but the one after that. So you'd hope that by then a lot more Americans will be into rugby. That's the whole point of them hosting it really.
I was worried the golfer would be penalized for hitting the wrong golf ball, but as I recall the penalty is for "taking one or more swings at a wrong holf ball", and I guess they decided he swung at his ball and the other one was just kinda in the way.
That ball gets to live a whole new life!! So incredible! That ball is a warrior. I hope it knows it's loved.
All my homies hate that ball
This comment does not deserve this many comments
Gotta go with fan D. Generally, I feel like you gotta be outta your seat if you're really into the game, but I liked his energy

Today's match against Aoiyama in particular was a great one!

I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!!!!
Keep thriving Jim, I love all that you've built.
Love seeing Rugby 7s on Jomboy; IMO the best full-contact ball game in existence. Nonstop action, short games, fun tournament format.
Could you do a breakdown of the final play of the Furman vs. UVA basketball game? It’s one of the craziest endings I’ve seen in a long time
Totally agree with this !
I hope you get into rugby the same way you did cricket. Such a great sport with so much nuance to its play. Feel like it's ripe for a 'Rugby explained in (american) Football Terms' video

Gotta be fan D again this week
for sure
Fan D. great moves, great style, great vibes
Fan A is my vote, It's a group effort!
Gotta go with A. Congrats to Kennesaw State on their first March Madness appearance!
I just learned this past week that mizzen and main are the masts on old schooners/sailing ships.
We were given tickets to the LA Sevens and these athletes are crazy. They played like 3 times on Saturday with like a game in between for rest.
Since we're voting with our heart, gotta support my Argentinian friends Myriam & Adriana. Que viva Argentina! B
I love all the show theme songs at JM, but this one gets better every time.
The fan of the week is so difficult this time I gotta say!
im struggling to decide between A and D
i gotta go with d
Hat man all day
I’d say “D” as well.
5:03 I didn't know Dr Disrespect played Rugby for AUS..... see what I woulda missed?
Thank you Jomboy!
Best series on UA-cam. B fan of the week.

as always, 7s or union, more rugby on jomboy!
Yep, I hope he'll cover the rugby union world cup later this year
I love the intro music to this show so much
D3 National Title game ending was pure speed and chaos, the guy tried 2 separate times to lob it with the lead! Turned it over twice too!
I will always thumbs up these videos because god I hope this series survives
Fan of the Week is D. Having the time of their life.
I like this format of show.
That's inspirational! Remember folks, if you've been stuck in the dirt for a long time, well keep your chin up, because one day someone might chip you outta there!
That golf shot was crazy
5 years from now you'll be a world class beatboxer thanks to these videos.
jimmy please check out the 2023 Roofball World Championship. i'm sure you've been told about it before, but it seems right up your alley and this years championship had some fantastic plays
Not a Pixar movie ending for a golf ball 😭
Fan(s) C this time around! There's love in those smiles haha
Thompson was an absolute beast in college. That’s when he only played field lacrosse and let me tell you, he and his brothers were mutants among mere men. I love lacrosse.
D, look at that man, having the time of his life.
Came for the sports.
Stayed for the beat boxing.
😉😁
Beat boxing intro goes hard
Phoned in the intro song a little bit this week. But honestly it still slapped
D is obviously fan of the week. No contest.
Fan A, easy choice, vibes are immaculate
We love the beat boxing into
Gotta go with Fan A
Definitely goin with D this week
The Thompson brothers are legends in lacrosse
D’s got rhythm, and also has my vote.
Fun Fact: Thompson used to play at the University of Albany back in the mid-2010s. So it is funny that he beat this Albany team.
the best god damn sports clip show on the entire internet. yep, i said it.
I think you got it wrong Jomboy. I think the baseball 1:55 hit the catchers glove THEN bounced into the dirt then the batter's foot.
Ruby bit had me crying😂
"we were O and forever to everyone" awesome
MORE RUGBY!!
Gotta go with fan B. I'm unfamiliar with Argentinian mating rituals but she seems to be making quite the attempt by showing the flag off like that.
Thank you. Perfection
4:35 you’re thinking of Friends when we see Ross in his college years😂
More. Rugby. Please.
Fan D, he's cheering with his heart
thompson was one of the best college players of all time, loved watching him play
the Thompson clan was legit growing up. Also, it is funny how Thompson had the game winner against Albany. You know, since he played for the Albany Great Danes in college.
I miss watching their goalie back in the mid 2000s, I think he had like 5 or 6 goals in his 2006 season. those were fun games to watch!
Best theme song ever, confirmed
That boy was all shoulders man! lol
Thompson needs to play in the PLL..
Easy choice this time - Fan D all the way. Looks like he’s doing his own rendition of Mac’s elbow dance.
More rugby. The woman’s 7’s rugby is awesome.
I vote D. I also vote to have a Fan of the Week Tournament of Champions at some point in the future.
Was that Biz Markie with the intro song?
March Madness Breakdowns Please
Choosing fan B for fan of the week. D was a contender, but Bs energy kept drawing my attention
My God...26 to 5? Was the pitcher BLIND!?
A for fan of the week.
Fan of the week gotta be D for me, some nice moves

D is really gettin' it.

I’m biding with D he is the fan of the week for me
Yo ever wanted to cover bouldering competitions? There was a huge controversy recently with Collin Duffy having to redo his climb 3 TIMES
Fan D gots the moves....
C. for Fan of the Week.
the fan of the week is the woman in the black tanktop shown after the US grand slam in the wbc
Fan D.
Fan A, I don't even know who we're supposed to focus on. Fan B has worse rhythm than an arrhythmial heart. Fan C may as well be a wall.
Gonna go with c
Was gonna do B because they are repping the flag but D’S energy won me over.
