In USA, there are some companies that sell seeds like these called Heritage seeds. This can be replicated in India and thereby both create a viable business and help preserve this biodiversity. Also perhaps rare herbs and medical plants can be grown with the help of Ayurvedic schools and businesses at the different terrains and altitudes best for them.
