I think PRS really made a new classic with this “modern” version of a Strat. I have one just like the one you have in for this week. It feels amazing to play. Mine weights only 3,2 kilo 👍… You seem to enjoy it 🙂
Mayer has said few times that this is a professional guitar that can be used for gigs as he used this model on stage as well as his American ones. Nice guitar has a nice chunky sound takes the “S” style to a new realm.

The EVH in red was the only one on sale for that low price. They are all $1,499 now. I actually have the black one and bought it when it was first released. Fantastic guitar. I did buy the EVH case for it cause that gig bag was garbage.
Nice demo, never tried a PRS I liked. This is the first PRS to spark my interest in a long time.

I have a first run in stone blue. I like the neck on the SE better than the core. I upgraded to the core tuners. Everything else is stock. It's a great guitar for short money.

Tried one of these at GC. It was set up so poorly I couldn’t play it well. I liked the pickups. The pups are sparkly like single coils are but they were also thick and round vs tinny and sharp. The neck is excellent for me. A thicker C shape reminds me of an old Fender C from the 60’s.
Must have a pretty straight neck, he's got no fret buzz on the low end stuff. Yet it seems you could really bend the notes way up on the hi E.

An all round great sss stratocaster it seems eh, prs make great guitars!
Isn't it funny how when Grover Jackson, Charvel and Ibanez made their own versions of Strats or even "Radical" Superstrats it was A-Okay and even GREAT but if PRS makes an only slightly different but relatively conservative one it's somehow "weird" to many of us? I think I know why though: PRS had NOT made a truly Stratty model for so long that it strikes us as almost ridiculous today but do remember that it WAS an UNSOLICITED special request project by a famous Artist that Fender chose to ignore.

Would it be too much to ask to just call it “Yellow”. Of taffy yellow? I’d even go with Banana Cream. But without a photo we are to immediately understand that “Moon White” is yellow, huh. Right there is my issue with Paul Reed Smiffs. They always have to give you the high hat. So in my opinion, I find all PRS’s to be “Poo Brown”.

I try , but can not get into Fender or Gibson copies. Just buy the O.G . I play guitars that have absolute no design out in the wild already. Mosrite , Burns etc

This is Fender + PRS look. What is the purpuse of this guitar? Fender and PRS have differerent sound and I simply cannot stop watching this guitar as a Fender, it even sounds like a Fender.

Steve…I had the same conversation with a UA-camr…I said action was a “feel” thing…if it felt good, it was good…he argued with me and told me to “eff off”…it was bizarre…needless to say I unsubscribed!!!
