I liked the fact that the reviewer examined the vehicle from the point of view of a potential owner and not from that of a motoring journalist hawking his personal prejudices. On the basis of this review, I would be happy to trot down to my local Peugeot dealer. Thank you!

Bought a 2019 508 GT about a week ago and so far I love everything about it. Puts a big smile on my face when I see it and when I drive it. Also like the massage seats and great sound system.
The new Peugeot interior designs are absolutely brilliant. They may not match Audi build quality, but the design is first class. Forget Tesla Model 3, this is what a futuristic cockpit is.

As for my comments, I still own the older version, and it hasn't aged a bit, stylistically speaking; it has loads of power, it is fabulous to drive at any speed. The engine never runs out of power. The interios is fabulous as well. The car establishes a connection with its driver, it does not push you (like bimmers), or cuddles you (like Mercs), but it does have a nice balanced approach. I love the dashboard. So unique. Lovely steering wheel. Beautiful stitching on these seats. The rear end design lets the car down a bit, though. It doesn't wow you the way the rest of the car does. Overall, a great job, Peugeot!

I currently own a 508 mk1 from 2014, and I purchase a new 508 GT Petrol 225hp, side to side the styling gap is more than evident. Greats cars to drive, both of them
I really like what Peugeot has done with 508 - in the sense that it gives premium feeling for not-so-premium-yet price. Without testing it in real life, I've no opinion on the iCockpit yet, but the interior quality really makes you stop and think what are you paying Audi for? Not to mention the standard level GT comes with alcantara instead of leather, which is important to me (thanks Thomas!), unlike German premium brands that tell you to pay for it. Really impressive! This is a serious contender for my next car.

Beautifull review of a beautifull car. I always thought i would not like to have a peugeot , i drove a 205 back in students days and liked it nevertheless😀. But all the past years working efforts and design improving come to this incredible car so.. i loved how you also go out of the "usual review" box and explain there is a different feeling between your first handling of a car, and the handling after a few days/weeks when you get use to it. You're not giving everything away to the first look. You allow the car to have this move : "we choose to be bold, so we will ask for a bit of patience to get the full taste of it" . The peugeot move is risky in terms of being charming or not at first reviewers look, and you really shared with us what it takes, like a huge rock'n roll song that would be a grower.
I cant still cant believe you guys didnt noticed that you can flip the rear floor in the boot upside down. Peugeot specifically designed this to make carrying your dogs/pets less of a hassle.
At €51,000 I will expect it to have a massive drop in value. It is just too much so I don't expect to see many of these very high spec versions on the used market in the end
I love the design overview portion of autogefuhl videos, very hands on and in depth. While looking at this car I can only wonder if we will look at this car's overall design in the future like we look at the more outlandish wedge designs of late 70's and 80's today.
Subtle but super effective best describes the design/styling of this car ( and the 508 SW - estate version ), it's mixture of flair and panache is just perfect and oh so missing in a lot of cars these days. Top stuff for Focal audio ( France ). Dash/cabin presentation is simply gorgeous. Period. Peugeot does still has a bit more catching up to do with the response times and intuitiveness of their various controls/functions. Kudos Brian for a fantastic review and your honest comments about the expectations of this car.
50k is hefty indeed. Still, those in the market for something special will pay this. PSA, which reported astonishing H1 2018 financial results (op. margin 8,5% / equal to Audi's!) will continue its lucrative mission: churning out highly desirable, top quality vehicles people often buy in the most expensive versions. With the 508 II and especially the Estate, this preference will be no different.
Gute Arbeit, Weiter so!

👌
The back design is the best. Would love to have it on my Bora
I love the modern design of Peugeot in-and-out I hope they keep it going (especially the stylish micro steering wheel)
Peugeot 508 aracım olduğu için Allah'a şükür. Teşekkürler. 🍀
Great review Brian, very detail, genuine and interesting review, nice looking design approach by Peugeot.Once again, Thanks Brian.
thanks jan !
Beautiful...just beautiful :o
Stunning car!
With the 508 II and especially the Estate, this preference will be no different.
if my new civic would have the 508 interior, it would be the perfect car for me :D love this cockpit
Good review Sir. And the car sure looks the part.
god damn never thought i would say a peugeot is beautiful
i enjoyed the time spent to appreciate the design aspects, it's a lovely vehicle
thanks keep joining us!
Love Brian's trainers...
Super review! Good job!
Those front LEDs ruin the front. If it wasn't for them then it would have pretty much perfect looks.
Best review out there
Gute Arbeit, Weiter so!
Vielen Dank!
Autogefühl habe ich recht mit der Vermutung bezüglich verliebt in das Auto? :D
Sorry, nein :-)
