Your Dimensions finish is gorgeous!!! They always look so nice and hey, backstitching makes everything look perfect! ❤ I am so so happy that you are stitching that Sandy Orton’s summer design. It really does look so stunning already. Can’t wait to see you make progress with it.
I roll my finished projects on a cardboard paper roll that came from a flower shop. No glue on it. I soak my work in dish liquid, dry it and spray it with spray starch and usually the marks all come out.
congratulations on your 2K 🎉🎉 well deserved lovely lady 😘 Wonderful episode as usual, love the kit Deerland, I am tempted 😂 have a fabulous holiday ! xx
HI Lyndsey , great FT as usual . I like your idea of not having specific plans and just stitching what takes your fancy , if only I didn't have gift deadlines ! BTW , I stitched on holiday and on the plane a couple of months ago , they accept needles and scissors no more than a few centimetres long - i.e cross stitch scissors are perfect so if you want to take stuff with you there is no problem, your only problem is time !!!
Thank you Lynn! Yeah that’s true about stitching for deadlines, I haven’t got any of those at the moment but I know what you mean 😂 and thanks for the info about travelling ☺️ I think a certain toddler will be another reason I don’t get much done 😂 xx
Hi Lindsi, just love everything you shared today! I wanted to comment on every one of them but there were so many I can't remember! Lol. I am amazed at your stitching of Dimensions kits and of course your full coverage pieces! The projects that seem to be for Bella are adorable! As far as getting the creases out of aida, I'd use steam when ironing with a fabric on top of your piece and then when stretching it too finish, it should not be noticeable. But if you find another way, please be sure to share! Have a wonderful time on holiday! See you when you get back! Lori 💕
Hi Lori! Thank you so much for your wonderful comment! I hadn’t thought to use the steam feature so I’ll give that a go and let you know how I get on xxxx
Lovely floss tube! Your projects are gorgeous. I love your deer with the town on it's antlers, it is gorgeous on black. The pink fabric for your Mirabilia sounds like a good idea. Make sure the flowers do not recede into the fabric. I don't know if you wash your finishes, but don't wash My Lady's Garden. I washed mine and the Waterlilies ran all over. Best of luck with your stitching. I will be looking forward to your next floss tube.
Lovely stitching as always! Could I just say: personally I wouldn’t take a big project like your HAED on holiday……lots of reasons - it’s large, a bag (even hand baggage) can have a mishap, lighting in hotel rooms can be a bit dim, don’t usually have a lot of stitching time on a short break away, etc!! Maybe do your 500 stitches before you go? And then take something a little smaller? 😊 happy stitching!
Thank you! That’s good advice about my full coverage - maybe you’re right. I’d hate for something to happen to it for sure. I’ll have to have another think… xx
Congratulations on your 2000 subscribers!🎉🎉 I love the progress on your works! I am also working on Bee by Lorna Laine and it's just gorgeous! Last time I travelled from Stansted Airport and had a nail clipper (instead of scissors) and had no issues going through the security😊 Happy stitching!
Hey 👋🏻 thank you so much! Ooh that’s cool about your bee too! Would love to see your progress on instagram if you’re on there ☺️ thanks for the advice about the nail clippers, that’s a great idea! Xx

Ahh, thank you so much 😊 and glad you enjoyed it, it’ll be lovely to have you stick around xxx
Are you and your husband both teachers? As for creases, a light wash with Woolite helps decrease them, then ironing should take out the rest.
Yeah we are ☺️ that’s how we met actually… Thank you so much for the advice about getting the creases out, will pick up some Woolite when I go shopping next xx
