Really helpful Lindsi. I also don’t like those thread cards as I think the lengths are way too long and they just tangle into a bird’s nest ( or maybe that’s just me 😂). I have used a single hole punch to make a hole in the top part of the card above each colour and then snipped them apart so each colour is separate, snipped all the lengths off as you do and then looped them through the holes which still have enough space to the pin slide them on a big floss ring. I have left all that nightmare looking gold thread in the bag for now as I’m leaving that til the end as apparently I have to twist it into cords!!😂😂😂. Have fun with your kit - that one looks so good stitched up. xx
Hi LINDSI hope you had a wonderful time at ENR. I'm disappointed with myself for not being able to get there🤬. I tried a dimensions kit many years ago and it was too complicated for me. I have trouble doing ordinary cross stitch let alone different ones with blended threads lol. Look forward to your next video hopefully seeing some clips from ENR and a catch up on your project progress🤗
Thank you for the video. You start yours very similar to me. I put the floss onto floss cards with a hole for each symbol. Good luck with the new start 😊
No worries ☺️ I have to admit I haven’t tried putting the PDFs into either of those apps, but I do know people have had success with it in the past… xx
I'm very tempted to start my new Dimensions kit now! I wonder if their pdf would be pattern keeper compatible? I've stitched a dimensions kit before and found the paper pattern quite difficult to use...
Could you do a video on how you store everything for your cross stitch? I know everyone has their own ways of storage but I just feel like mine is a huge mess and I easily forget some of the kits I have cause they're at a bottom of a box I don't always look in etc.
Thanks for showing us how you start a dimensions kit. Happy stitching!
You’re welcome ☺️ xx
Thanks for the video! I've got a couple days progress on mine before I needed to switch to meet the prompt for the Wip Warriors road trip.
Thank you Maryann! Xx
Very helpful!! Thanks for sharing. ❤❤

Excellent video. I am about to start my first Dimensions pattern a Christmas stocking, so this was perfect timing. Would love a video on Good notes. 📝
Thank you so much Teresa and good luck with your stocking ☺️ I will add that video on GoodNotes to my list… xx

Thank you Alison! I have heard a few people say about punching holes in the thread cards - that’s such a great tip! Xx

Thank you for an informative vlog I would also appreciate a vlog regarding goodnotes and how to mark off a project
No worries, you’re welcome ☺️ will definitely do a video on GoodNotes… xx
Thx for the very helpful video. Have you used Markup-Xp (Apple) or Pattern Keeper (Android) at all?
No worries ☺️ I have to admit I haven’t tried putting the PDFs into either of those apps, but I do know people have had success with it in the past… xx
Great info! Do you know if there is a difference between the regular kit and the Gold?
Thank you ☺️ I believe the Gold Collection kits are a bit more detailed and intricate, a bit more of a challenge to complete x
Thank you Lindsi, that was really helpful and I would really appt appreciate a look @ the Good Notes App 😊
No worries, glad it was useful ☺️ xx

I know that some people have had good luck in getting the pattern into PK - I’ve never tried it so I don’t know… xx
@@BlushingPinkStitches I'll email fir the PDF and give it a try...

Absolutely! I’ll add it to my list ☺️ xx
A video on Goodnotes would be great. I’m battling with Mark Up R XP at the moment😢
Will add that to my list, thank you Sarah xx
