I have recently started a channel too - i'm a South African living in UK. I used to be a monogomous stitcher but have discovered that I quite like having a few projects on the go - but don't want to have too many either.

Really enjoyed your video, you spoke really well - not too many ums. And you have a lovely background, bright and cheery. Sometimes people have blank walls behind them like they've been kidnapped 😂😂 I have framed my own things in the past I buy the really stiff cardboard (you can't roll it up) and attach my needlework to that. So when you put the back of the frame and it's neat. If what you have is niot the right measurement for frame I'll cover a strip of cardboard with fabric and perhaps put at top/bottom or either side. Also gives you a little space between glass and your work - which is good to have. I can email you a pic if it doesn't make sense Hope you don't mind my suggestions. 💗💗💗

If you google - some designs where people have turned the Unikko poppy into a stitch - but I prefer collecting their fabrics and homewares… and clothing! Going to see a film about Maija Isola next month - legendary Marimekko designer - so be interesting to see what inspired her!

Thank you! So happy I now have the space to display them all and committed to using nails to hang them on the wall! 2 years - assuming its a relatively large design??! I tend to keep to smaller designs - need the instant gratification and then move onto the next one!
@@littlebypikku I probably should throw I'm a small design but I too am mostly manogamus. The design am am working on is around 760000 stitches and I am slow 🤣

Are there any Marimekko designs to stitch?
If you google - some designs where people have turned the Unikko poppy into a stitch - but I prefer collecting their fabrics and homewares… and clothing!
Going to see a film about Maija Isola next month - legendary Marimekko designer - so be interesting to see what inspired her!
