In this video I ran through Athens to find the home of Olympiacos FC, the Karaiskakis Stadium. I'll give you some information about the team and the stadium as well as taking you inside the club shop.
It's actually a really cool looking stadium. I wish they did stadium tours here! Hopefully one day I can watch a game here featuring Olympiacos and another team from the Greek Superleague!

Actually this isn't Athens but Piraeus. Piraeus is not an Athenian suburb but a totally different city, is the 3rd biggest city in Greece, behind Athens and Thessaloniki, with it's own metropolitan area. Piraeus city population is approx. 170k while the metro population is approx. 500k. However it's true that Athens metro and Piraeus metro combined make up the Athens LUZ so probably that's why most foreigners are confused.

Thanks for the promotion. Btw new Karaiskakis stadium wasn't renovated....old Karaiskakis was taken apart completely and they build the new one all the way from the foundations until the end.

Come to thesalloniki to see the Kleanthis Vikelidis stadium.In this stadium the team that plays is Aris Thesallonikis.Is small stadium but it has the craziest fans!

The new karaiskakis stadium was built in 2004 there was a reconstruction not a renovation there is a difference and it is one of the most modern football stadiums not only in Greece but in Europe

Try visiting the AEK's stadium in Athens. It will be finished until the next year so I would recommend you to visit it then.
