    I open my bedroom windows in the winter months for about 5 or 10 minutes each morning. The freezing cold kills the mites. During the summer, I make sure the A/C stays at or below 71. Colder indoor temperatures definitely make a difference with my allergies.

      That's amazing and makes sense. So, by cutting the AC on below 71 degrees, it will kill the dust mites?

    • @RoadRunner592
      @RoadRunner592 8 місяців тому

      @@yoshomiamoto No, the A/C won't kill the dust mites, but it will lower the temperature and humidity. Dust mites like warmth and humidity. Making it cool and dry makes them go dormant.

      @@RoadRunner592 Thanks! I ordered spray from amazon, and sprayed the entire room down. Hopefully that gets rid of them. I heard you have to keep reapplying it though after a few days, otherwise they could come back.

    Use peppermint drops mixed with water in a spray bottle, mice HATE the smell, it smells nice to us. Spray in your house all corners inside, and then garage perimeter and then walk around the outside of your house and spray the outside walls just a quick perimeter sweep. You wont smell it after a day, but mice will continue to smell it for days. They will run out of your house and wont try and come back. Also pickup and food, pet food and keep it sealed. They can smell food in your house from outside of it so try and keep things put away. Always works for me, hope this helps.

    Borax won't dilute in room temperature or even warm water. You must dilute Borax with boiling water. I cool down boiling dilution water before pouring in the washing machine.

    Please, if you have pets, note that some of these are poisonous to them. Check reliable sources for important information on anything before you use it. Veterinarian or Pet hospitals should be able to tell you.

    I looked for tea tree oil and eucalyptus oil. I have been able to find essential oil. If I'm not mistaking there is a difference between two. Will essential oil work?
    Thank you.

      Essential oils are very, very Potent! We have to be careful with pets. But for Human use we can blend and use these miracles! Plants, herbs, fruits are incredibly potent. We've just been fooled to believe otherwise by the medical and pharmaceutical industrial complex seriously they want us sick it makes them rich.
      I love Peppermint
      Bergamot Oil
      Oil Of Oregano
      Lavender Oil
      Eucalyptus Oil is amazing! A few 1-2 drops for a steam shower!
      You have to be careful how you Mix them and use them with other carriers to dilute the concentration like Jojoba for self care or skin care. I have used the "Now" brand or find others from a local grocery shop or try to find the best quality also the Power of Your Best intentions! It WORKS! ❤🙏

    They left out the best method. Your clothes dryer on hot. This really cooks the mites like an air fryer. Leave the items in the dryer until they are crispy hot. Everything from you shoes to your pillows can go in. This method works within one day to decrease your mite problem dramatically.
