@@angusmoodie1026 That is completely incomparable to the positive reaction. This is the closest thing we see to justice nowadays - a humiliating public pillorying and to see and hear the other contestants say EXACTLY what we all think. It is vile and unfortunate that he will paid a lot of money for this little PR folly, and even more vile that he still collects his MP salary whilst he is in there, but at the very least we get to see this loathsome despicable character being treated for the total scum that he is, to his face, on a huge televised platform. It is a bitter sweet small victory, but I think most of the UK public will be very content to see this person suffer in any way...big or small.

400,000 and 1 . . . His ego! That’s the other one. Remember how he faked crying that time? If you not seen it, just type, “Matt Hancock fakes tears,” or something into the search engine on UA-cam. It’s totally cringeworthy, but it tells you everything there is to know about his real motivations. The truth is, he desperately wants to be loved. Not in an, “I’m a celebrity,” kind of way, but in an out of control, “You will all love me and despair,” psychotic kind of way. The kind of way that is SO OUT OF CONTROL that he’d abandon his constituents during the biggest economic crisis Britain has faced since the war, over the objections of his friends, family and advisors and in spite of having the whip taken from him, and still he GENUINELY BELIEVES that the general public are SUCH IDIOTS that they will accept his, “Oh, y’know, we’re just people like you, or something,” bullshit!
I hope his first challenge is to be buggered to death by an angry, angry ape.

Someone should tell Mr Hancock that actually the majority of members of Parliament are viewed as human. It's only the Tories who are so aloof and out of touch with the common people that they aren't considered as such.

In order for politicians to be shown as human beings, they have to demonstrate humanity in fulfilling their roles. Instead, we see Hancock desperately trying to reclaim his "credibility" and excuse the decision making that cost many lives during C19. He shows absolutely no insight into how doing IACGMOOH! is wrong on every score.

Think how much 'be a humab being' he could do by giving almost half a million to the most needy.

I love how they were tearing into him. "We politicians so rarely get to show our human side." the fuck kind of excuse is that?
Though I guess he's right, you struggle to make yourself seem human when you cut money to the poor, spread lies that fuel xenophobia and increase the amount of money in your own pocket. Almost as if those are the behaviours not of a human, but a fucking parasite.
