Get Me Out Of Here!
Piers believes it is deplorable that Hancock would make such a decision while still a Member of Parliament. Lembit disagrees however, explaining that it is no different to members taking a holiday whilst working. But Ann quickly points out it is different because he is not available to vote or pick up the phone for any urgent calls or conversations that occur whilst being a serving Member of the Party.

My mum passed away from Covid 3rd May 2020 , i was the only family member allowed to say goodbye to her , my two brothers daughter and granddaughter could not .

I also risked everything going onto the Covid ward because there wasnt any protection only a mask , the nurses had hardly any either.
My family had to wait outside the ward seperated of course .

I had to choose my mums coffin online and the flowers, and arrange a funeral by telephone.

We were only allowed 16 people at her funeral, i had to leave so many family and friends out thankfully they understood because you see we abided by

There was no wake or celebration of her life we left and went to our seperate homes because of

When my mums ashes were reunited with my dad only six people could be at the grave

Yes i am sad and i am bitter but most of all heartbroken that my brothers daughter and granddaughter could not say goodbye. They have had no closure and are still hurting so much.

You followed the rules well even when you could of broke the rules which will be understandable but you didn’t but the bellends that made the rules did not follow their own rules rules matt Hancock instead broke the rules to large extent that he was caught kissing a women as well as cheating on his wife which makes this so much distressing and upsetting to so many across the United Kingdom that done what the government said even during their families funerals and the death of their loved ones they still followed the rules but they all broke their rules there is no doubt in my mind that these people are devils and horrible indidviduals including Boris Johnson who had a party during the lockdown

It’s heartbreaking. I had a dad with palliative cancer and mum who wasn’t well . Thank goodness i lived with them and away from all this . Do politicians have any moral compass ? I never rated him . I am ex nurse and thought the whole things was all very odd from the start !

Hancock must be the only person who doesn’t think going into the jungle is an ill judged decision. His motive is to ‘use it as a platform to raise awareness of dyslexia’. Give me a break. I don’t suppose the 400k he’s being paid has much to do with going in there. I think he knows he’s on his way out as a MP and will lose his seat at the next election and is looking to reinvent himself as some sort of reality star. The man is shameless. He’s forgotten that he’s still a sitting MP and has a responsibility to serve his constituents. Don’t suppose many will welcome him back with open arms when he is finally voted off. To understand the attitude of Matt Hancock you just have to listen to the debate with ex MP Lembit Opik. Clearly he thinks that MPs can do what they like provided it's "within the rules". There's no thought for how things might look to constituents or a passion to do the best possible job for voters. Being an MP is "just a job" to him.....one with no fixed hours or responsibilities.

The format of Piers show seems to be, he asks a question, and if the person does not answer it in the way Piers wants it answered within 10 seconds, he steamrollers them down by shouting and interrupting. No wonder his Talk TV show is failing in the ratings, being beaten by the GOLD archive comedy show channel in the same 8pm slot.

Urgh, this is sickening. Hancock has proven he has zero emotional or any other kind of intelligence. He said to a fellow contestant "It's been really really tough..I messed. up and I fessed up. It's no excuse BUT I fell in love". Why is he defending himself? This should be an out and out MEA CULPA. Nothing but relentless self-flagellation. Whoever advised him, if anyone at all, before going in, is an idiot. And he's doing everything wrong if his aim to humanise himself. The rare occasion seeing more of a person and opening up their personality to the world has had the reverse effect.

I was horrified that retired MPs went on reality shows but working MPs are on reality shows is so much worse especially under the circumstances. Apart from anuthing else its tacky and unprofessional and who is advising this guy??? How can he possibly feel it will endear him to anyone?
