The thing people don’t understand is that, he doesn’t consider it as work but his life. When you’ve found a hobby that later turns into your career, it’s amazing and hard to come by. Imagine loving something so much and finding out that you can successfully pursue it and continue it, that’s very rare but Woo Jiho found that with music.
when crush said zico had no interest in dating it made me think that maybe that’s why seolhyun and him broke up? since he was so involved in his music he might’ve wanted to live like how others were supposed too and they started dating?? things like dating and living an exciting life might’ve been something he wished he could do but then he realised that he just wanted to do music so he broke it off to not hurt her anymore?? like music is all he wants to do? he really just wants to make and share music since it takes up most of his mind and heart. it’s inspiring but a little sad at the same time. i’m not sure if that’s the real story but watching this just made me feel this way.

recently i heard that a bunch of rappers are actually quite nerdy, like they get so invested in the lyrics, rhymes, technicalities, flow, etc; theyre not actually playboys or gangsters, they dont care about having that life but are just really into the art and process and i feel like thats zico.
(obviously i dont mean this in the sence of the 1980s insult 'nerd with pocket protector' trope, nerd means someone really invested in a specific subject who wants indepth knowledge not just surface level and doesnt really care about typical things and yeah it can be stereotypical computer programing or it could be anthropology or culinary arts, just whatever their passion happens to be)

Zico must be careful coz its ppl like him (passionate about their work and hard working) that are more akin to Burn Out ( stress related condition with mental exhaustion). He already has symptoms of stress/anxiety troubles ( heart palpitations and insomnia) ... He should balance his life style and find a hobby to relax with outside of music :/ but i know its gonna be hard because ppl like him ( high achievers) really love their job, but its taxing to the body and mental 😓 learning relaxation technics help with palpitations and sports/exercising helps with stress and insomnia ( light cardio like taking walks would be good :) ). ✌

The words about Anti were exactly what I thought. I went to Zicos concert a few months ago and he said sth similiar (that he wants to not only be knows as an underground rapper but also as a human being with many different sides to him). He seems like such a nice and genuine person and I think there aren‘t many artists out there who work that hard and passionately.

Is he in depression? Or have a lot of anxiety cause it’s good to be really passionate about something and work hard, but when you can’t sleep and enjoy yourself, it might be something serious with his mentality. But I give him credit for being so hardworking.
Depression is a strong word, he probably has his fair share of sadness and happiness in life like other idols but He's just workaholic. He shows all the signs of a workaholic person which may lead to depression in a long term 🤷♀️

Idols work so hard for the fans and they work non stop even after a comeback they have like a weeks rest and then they get back to practice. The fans are around the idols life and are most of the time controlling it. But only for certain fans to disrespect their faves by disrespecting others and act like their faves were the only ones that work hard. And then for them to blame the agency if there’s no comeback. If it’s a new group sure there may be a need to have more comebacks in order to pay off their debts and for them to earn money or at least gain more popularity for a more stable foundation. When groups don’t have a comeback I’m happy cause I know they would be doing something to relax to find themselves some hobbies to do and do something that they can have some healing time. Having to debut at such young age they barely get to enjoy their childhood and they miss out on a lot of things. They can’t be close to family and can’t be close to friends. They’re under constant attention and it gets really stressful. I’m pleased if the group starts to relax more on comebacks after 2-3 years because by then they would have at least gained a stable fan base and stable income for them. I mean they do everything for the fans AND to live their dreams but many fans destroy the enjoyment they may have in making music if they are too demanding. Like as if instead of making music as a hobby it’s like something they must do and not something they may enjoy to do even if they say they enjoy it

Since i saw him as one of mentor of ( SHOW ME THE MONEY 4) that was my first time to watch korean channel and that was Mnet, i've watch "show me the money 4" from the start till end, thats the reason why i know woo ji hoo more than zico. Since the mc call his name and he comes out! I know and i feel it how good he was. And i wasnt wrong! Thats why even theres a kpop boy group i've always endeed up on block b specially when it comes to music. I really love all block b songs. How many times that i tried to listen some other songs that was sung by the other kpop boy group "NO" i cant even finish the first stanza. I'll go back to block b's playlist. Even if i dont understand nor to speak korean but my heart can fully understood what the meaning of the song. Thank to woo ji hoo that we have zico! And to all the block b. And to all the artist who works really hard just to give a good music. Until now from morning to midnight im listening block b songs, specially when im depress, sad, tired because lots of work and lack of sleep. Your song makes me feel comfortable and at peace. The inner image has a weaker role where you "fear" or what others don't want to "see".. in a way it seems like he wants people to see that his personality remains the same whether you see him as woo jiho or zico, but he wants to be acknowledged as woo jiho in his craft too and not to be seen as the hard image he has as zico. it's the reason why some people actually decide to have stage names because they want to keep their onstage identity separate from their own personalities, however for him, it seems that he wants them to blend because neither is different from their other, he's just as hardworking out of the light as he is in it.

Very interesting concept. I really hope Zico/Jiho eventually finds peace in himself rather than in his music. I just don't want him to burnout which is very likely at the rate that his going looking at how het gets anxiety and is having trouble sleeping which can lead to serious health issues and depression, i really hope to see Zico being able to continue making music for as long as he wants to and for that to happen i think he needs to find peace and happiness in himself as a person before himself as an artist.
Of course, this is my own opinion and i am not a doctor and everyone has their own motivation and passions in life. At the end of the day, i just want to see Zico happy and healthy :)
