As for places to visit in the islands you already hit the top of my list at Stuart, but Waldron, Sucia, Clark Island, Jones Island, Henry Island, Posey Island, and James Island are all fantastic places to visit. in addition to Roche and Friday Harbor, you can access East Sound, Deer Harbor, Lopez Village, and Snug Harbor without needing wheels.
