The Hellcat basically preformed skip-bombing. This was a technique used in the Pacific theatre a lot by allied medium bombers and fighters. Come in low, drop the bomb, the momentum skips the bomb along the water and it impacts the side of the ship. I didn't realize that the physics in the game would allow this technique, so I haven't bothered trying it. I'm actually kind of impressed.

Look at the replay posted on my channel, I tried to send it 15 times but I got no response
or when 2 people got nukes in the same game and one got shoot down
well, also gold for someone ramming an enemy plane. It might be all the player could do so I don't blame him or her. But nyone can do that, so why is it featured?
I've sent them a replay file where i killed 15 tanks within 4 minutes but i guess thats not as impressive as a random dumbass driving through an enemy heli in complete oblivion

I had one of those moments I still have the file somewhere in my saved replays but due to updates I cannot view it anymore. It was me in an F6F hellcat and I was the last person on the team against a ME 264. One of the players spectating on my team activated Blind Hunt after I asked around. Suddenly the enemy bomber appeared heading to the airfield, PERFECT! I used the terrain to my advantage by flying though the snow covered canyons and ridges getting closer to the enemy airfield (I forget what map specifically but I will update this post when I figure it out). The ridges came right up to the airfield and in turn I was below the airfield’s AA Guns. One problem how could I kill a bomber in one pass as ticket bleed would make us loose? I had another trick up my sleeve; a pair of Tiny Tim rockets. As soon as I appeared behind the airfield and rose up the AA opened fire along with the bomber’s gunners a second later. I fired off my rockets and SUCCESS! The bomber was dead but in turn I was now on fire with my engine out. I just needed to stay in the air long enough for the enemy’s ticket bleed to win us the match. I put my gear out and slowly glided to the ground away from the airfield behind some buildings and match ended right as I touched down and still very much on fire.

Show me some of your stuff, maybe we play together. I mostly play sim but can play realistic should it suit you....any tier!

I dont think its auto flight correction, its just the physics in the game. there's no much ground force I agree
controls>aircraft>instructor>auto-restricts control of the aircraft near the ground

Hello there I was wondering if it would be possible to change some think on the Chi RI 2 that if I only habe 3 crew left that one stays in the main turet one sill drives and the last one stays in the hill gun. That not 2 of the 3 go in the turet and one drives I would really like it to youse the hull gun and Mein gun and be still able to drive whit 3 crew. Hope fully this is understandable thank.

Recon planes in general would be a cool addititon IMO. Access to bombsight view, but instead of bombs, it "scouts" targets within its FOV

Yeah, people really have to learn that there are key players in war thunder, to really win a match, you have to find that player, they may not be the best in the beginning, but you will see who it is after a tiny while, as they will still be fighting against you
I was using a kv2 earlier yesterday and when i shot a pz4 it hit and killed a plane who happened to be very close to the ground

These aren't really that great. The Japanese one getting 4 kills is but ramming a plane and dropping a bomb to get 2 kills are pretty meh
The plane one was a random drop which makes it impressive. Pilot wanted to shed weight before the dogfight.
@@MaplePanda04 pilot knew what he was doing. Unless the enemy was right in their spawn they wouldn't have been on that side of the map close to the air field. Random or not thiat was still pretty mid at best

I would like to ask how do i use the green lines under the crossair?
I believe you are asking about the rocket sights, they are used to aim rockets

@@Terror1325 the unguided rocket sight for planes from the top of "close distance" to the bottom line for the further distance since the rockets are affected by gravity of course this can have diferent outcomes from diferent rockets and planes, some rockets goes futher and in a almost straight line others have bad accuracy xD

I remember once I was playing as a kv-1, and there was just this plane. About a kilo away. I had nothing to do, so I shot at the plane, and took it’s tailwing off. Still my best shot.
This video confirms my deeply-held belief that the Puma belongs at the same BR as the PUMA.

I killed 6 enemy tanks with one 500lb bomb (dropped from p39N) and then in same minute i shoot down 2 enemy planes. I sended the replay to you guys. Come on share it next week.

Sorry but someone who head-ons and body slams their plane into a nuke bomber shouldn't be in a show with players getting double/triple kills even if on accident.
That last clip is basically a Tuesday afternoon for most players. Nothing special.

There were a few repeats but i think it was only 2 or 3 times that a same person got featured on thunder show so maybe its your imagination

I've seen people 1 shot Tiger IIs with M22s, is the M22 broken? No, those guys were just really good and/or really lucky. Germany is broken, yes, but the Puma is not one of their broken vehicles. It's just that light vehicles are really versatile. You'll notice that he didn't even frontally kill any of those vehicles, he shot them all in the side or rear, you could do that with any light vehicle
@@filmandfirearms Haven't played this game in a year after playing pretty much all the way through since 2013. Left because it was too broken and not fun anymore.
Who set the measurement for the brokenness of a vehicle by the fact that it can frontally kill?
When I left, light vehicles like the puma were all broken because Gaijin counted air as armor. Shockwave air pressure of rounds flying at insane speeds a cm next to the crews heads did nothing. That's what the overpressure system was for.
Don't really care much about the game anymore, just thought I'd post a triggering comment for the german mains out there for old times' sake.
