Lol has Acho forgotten that the Chiefs have lost two AFC title games at home... each of which preceded a season in which they won a Super Bowl? Tom Brady had Wild Card exits in his career. Chiefs will be fine, you can't dominate every season because of how competitive the league is. Joy is once again the sole voice of reason in this room.
Facts.
Brady went 10 years without winning a SB. The national media proclaimed Brady done and washed. Then he won a few more after that. The NFL is cyclical and it’s hard to always be the best and win win win. The Chiefs and Mahomes won’t make the AFCCG every year. The Chiefs obviously need better receivers and tackles. As long as 15 is the QB KC will be legit contenders. Keep it movin.

There’s no pressure on the Chiefs! Everybody wants to bury them because of their success. Hosted 5 straight AFCCGs and played in 3 of the last 4 SBs winning 2! Last one without Tyreek Hill when they were suppose to be cooked. No team outside of the Patriots with Brady has sniffed this level of consistent success! Couldn’t get ‘em last year, better do it this year!! Mahomes has NEVER had a defense half this good, I wouldn’t beat against them in the playoffs…
First time in a long time I’m agreeing with Joy. The Chiefs are already established. Mahomes is paid and a HOFer, Kelce is a HOFer, Reid is a HOFer… The Dolphins on the other hand still have to prove themselves. Tua and McDaniels need to prove they can make some noise in this league. Otherwise the team will be broken up. Nobody is breaking up the Chiefs.
Tua has already shown you multiple times he’s not the guy. Injury history aside, nobody in their right mind is paying that guy 40-50M+ per year. McDaniel seems like a smart offensive coach but if he losses this game with all their injuries he’s fine. What will be interesting about this team is are you keeping Ramsey, Chubb, Wilkins, Phillips, Howard, Hill, and Waddle??
@@quintenruckman3505 The Giants literally paid Daniel Jones 40 million a year and the Cardinals paid Kyler like 44 a year. It’s not farfetched to think the Dolphins will pay Tua a similar amount if he finally wins them a playoff game.

@Towers800 the 2 biggest players to cough up potential winning games are Toney and MVS. If it wasn't for them constantly dropping balls and that costly offsides as well, KC would possibly be looking at a 14-3 season (optimistically). I have no doubt KC will drop them in the first day of the off-season.

Actually, I agree with Joy, his receivers are performing historically bad this year. They are one year removed from winning a SuperBowl, all they have to do is retool the WR room and maintain their defense and they're easily SuperBowl contenders again if they're healthy.

Chiefs are 3/6, but also won 3/4. They’ve simplified their offense and looked sharp against a good Cincy defense. Besides the redzone, they moved the ball all game

You have 3 players not including mahomes on that offense that is competent enough to play football and that’s Isiah Pacheco, rice, and Travis kelce but ones only in their second year ones a whole rookie and one is reaching the end of their career..other than that that offense has practically no one yet they still have gotten it done they have one of if not the worst receiving rooms in the league yet still manage to win games. People forget one thing… when they say “Brady went 10 years without winning” to say Mahomes could do the same, they forget to say and he (Brady) has been the ONLY one who has won a title after 4 years without championships… SO just because Brady was able to win again after 10 years doesn’t make it any more probable for any other QB to do so.
Montana had 4 rings in 9 years 3 years without a ring was the longest stretch. Bradshaw had 4 rings in a 6 year run… Aikman 3 rings in a 4 years run.
So history is against the idea that a QB can go 10 years without a ring. Nothing about Brady makes that “normal”.
Can Mahomes win 2 or 3 more rings? I think so but I would bet against the idea that he could go 10, or even 6 years without a ring and win again. If he is one and out this year no problem… if goes one and out 3 years in a row he will be done winning rings.
