I have been using the Slack Core 920 R for 3 months now. It wasn't mentioned in the video, but the software allows you to modify nearly 50 parameters. Adjustments can be made according to the user's weight. Max torque and max power can be easily adjusted from the K and Kq settings. Additionally, there are throttle response settings that are very ideal for providing comfort in city use. I've reached speeds of up to 125 km/h. Wind resistance is a significant obstacle, and it reaches 120 km/h very easily and quickly. However, getting from 125 to 145 is not so easy. I always use body armor. I've ridden dozens of scooters, but I've never seen this kind of power. By the way, you don't necessarily need to go at 150 km/h. Not everyone with a Ferrari drives at 350 km/h all the time, after all. The feeling of having this power in your hands is a privilege. The body is made of titanium, so it's very sturdy. There is no flexing, creaking, or play anywhere. The Magura MT7 brakes are fantastic. There is no electronic brake as standard, but I had it added at the factory. The stopping power changed a lot. Erexx shock absorbers were used in mine for the first time. It operates with nitrogen gas and has adjustable settings for all types of roads. I didn't test the standard suspension. But all these systems are not for comfort. They are entirely for dynamic performance. We can't say it's comfortable, but we can't expect comfort from such a performance. I haven't had any issues after 1000 km. The brake pads are still good. All the screws are still tight. There is no sound coming from anywhere. It may seem like 36 Ah is low, but it provides a range of around 100 km, even with constant acceleration. The 40T battery is really good. I was curious and opened the deck. The battery has an integrated BMS cooler. I've seen this for the first time. I'm very satisfied with it right now. Is this conversation helpful so far?
Hey Paul, met you and your crew at Riderfest! Great event btw, yeah, I’ve been starstruck as well with this scooter. Looks crazy fast just parked! I’m sure you can hit 90 mph on this thing maybe on a legit drag strip not on the street. This is Alan from The Pinoy Squad.
I’ve hit 60mph once on my Nami burn e max on a straight line and honestly I do NOT need to reach higher speed than that. That thing is the dream I didnt know I had Guys really got the electronics of a weped and stuck them in a maneuverable frame, from what I have seen this makes Rions look entry level Review vid when?
I looked at the website, and they have a 1220 model that has a 60ah battery. The price is crazy, but aside from that a 60ah with a 120khm top speed is nuts. They don't mention range, but riding at 30-35mph I bet you could easily go over 100 miles on a charge. I usually stay around 25-30 on my WKGTP, the range with a 60ah would be godly. While I'd never go anywhere close to 75mph, the 60ah battery has my attention. After reviews start to come out, I might have to consider saving some $$$, selling my WKGTP and getting a 1220. Dual 200a controllers? PMT tires? A steering damper that doesn't look goofy as hell and stick out 2 feet? And unless I'm missing something on SLACK's website it says free shipping and I added it to my cart and don't see tax. Maybe because it's coming from overseas? $8800 is a damn lot, but if you can order directly from Slack with no shipping or tax that's gonna save some $$$. That's almost $800 for tax alone here in Cali. They also don't mention how much it weighs, but it can't be heavier than my WK lol. I can't wait for Paul get his hands on one and make a video. I really think this might be my next scooter.
Same goes for me, I would love to buy one of these scooters, just looking at the 60ah is extremely intriguing. I have the funds to purchase one of these but the WK-GT that I have now is pretty perfect, even now after doing 3000kms on it, in terms of build quality, aesthetics, power delivery, throttle etc etc, ESPECIALLY aesthetics. Even if I was offered the Rion+ the 920r or the WK-GT, I would pick the WK-GT. If only you could use the controller, motor, and battery from the 920r on the WK-GT
I looked into this scooter 1 year ago while waiting for my RION APEX to come in the mail.I love how it has front and rear suspension which the rion does not have. I Still waiting on it 2 years in. @@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Istanbul, Turkey. There is only one in the country right now. But 20+ scooters are on the way, probably next month delivery.
I was surprised to see that the battery is not a 94 volt or 100+ volt battery. lower voltage equates to greater amp draw so this battery must be very capable. i would not be surprised if this battery could be charged in five minutes, provided someone had a charger capable of that kind of amperage. 72 volt nominal is 84 volts fully charged. if i knew the capacity of this battery in watt hours, i could calculate how many amps the battery would require to charge in five minutes. I have a dualtron thunder 2 which i just learned has a bms that can handle 56amps charge to the battery, maximum. if i divide 56 amps into 3360 watt hours (dualtron thunder 2 battery capacity) this equates to a 1 hour charge time. which is significantly less than the segway gt2 required 8 hour charge time, utilizing the two, 2 amp chargers which ship with the scooter, and no faster more powerful chargers available that i have been able to locate for the segway gt2. going fast and charging fast are of equal importance to me because i want ride time, not sit and wait for battery charging time. i mean, minimal battery recharge time is preferable. i accept that quick charging may reduce battery cycle life.
You need a good quality e scooter with good suspension to go fast. Installing a steering damper like motorcycles have also help it stay buttery smooth at higher speeds. I ride mine down the highway to work going 55-65 mph every single day.
Make sure to get an rope and bind yourself to the stem. This thing will fly away when you go full throttle. 2x 0 to 90mph and the battery is empty 🤣 Would like to know what cells are inside and how they are connected. How many of them are in parallel?
The 920 name is in reference to the battery configuration 20S 9P. Cells are genuine double A grade, 40T (high discharge cells) sourced directly from Samsung
To be honest myself as a Wolf King GT owner I felt that power at 65mph first hand I will never trust a 90mph scooter with a single stem but that's just me, this probley a awesome scooter no dout but hey just being honest.👍🏽
Much better design than Emove Roadster C-type suspension NOT fan of those C-type suspension because it needs a damping. After all motorcycle and motocross and all E-bike are only using dual front fork suspension.
Just 125mph?,that's it...💁🏽♂️I'm looking for a scooter that has the combined power, speed and range of the Slack and Rion together. Now we talken. Atleast 170mph and 250 mi range
Ive crashed into a car going 30mph honestly didnt feel a thing but i think thats because i hit mainly the back of the car if it was at the front end i would of went flying
Im sure the nervousness would wear off eventually. How fast have you gone with motorcycle? When I started riding I was scared shitless, now my old bike is too slow lol. I wish they would get more scooter race tracks. Being on the road is a death trap not the scooter itself.
It depends on how you fall, what you’re wearing and how much run off room you have. It’s not unusual for Moto GP riders to walk away from 90 mph crashes. I’ve hopped away from an 80mph crash on the track and raced two days later. I still feel that one when I walk though. -Paul
I’m not feeling the name. Slack to me means lazy. I would have preferred something more typical like Flash or even Slash. I don’t want slack, I want energize, diligent, toned, firm, tight. But Slack does not confirm confidence to me.😂
This is a terrible idea. I don't know why the scooter companies insist on putting themselves out of business like this. How do they imagine law makers reacting to ridiculous speeds like this on unlicensed unregistered vehicles with no official safety testing and no mandatory safety gear? I get sick every time I see a company release one of these "super scooters." 35-40mph is plenty honestly, and the argument can easily be made that performance bicycles like the Tour De France bicyclists travel that fast, but there's no law maker that's going to go along with 90mph.
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide yeah I can only hope that others do the same, but UA-cam would suggest otherwise as I always see some idiot trying to ride on the freeway or go barreling down a 35mph road at 50+.
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuideYou know, it's not for private roads, even though they say that. Where are you gonna go on your private driveway? To do almost a 100 miles an hour. You need to get on the freeway or some other Main Street with the public. And put your life at risk, obviously.
They have to stop with these high speed nonsense before government start to regulate these scooters. The one reason people buy and use a scooter is because it's not regulated so you don't have to worry about registration, insurance, driver license, etc. But if they could race against a motorcycle then the government might start doing something about it and people who can't afford those expenses or doesn't have a license will have to go back to walk or taking bus again. Innovation is good but we're not living in a perfect world here.

Great pedigree, Great performance, Great material build top notch, but the design is definitely Elementary starting with the steering stem, come one Numo step up the design factor on this Hyper scooter FACTS!!!
Bruh this is eye wateringly fast. I have a niu kqi2 pro that I installed a cracked firmware onto that allows it to reach a little over 25mph and that already feels sketchy af. Going this fast on such a small vehicle while standing up is terrifying. I could probably get used to a 40mph scooter but highway speeds on one of these? No thanks...
Thanks for stopping by!
Tempted to buy one. But I need to be close to a damn race track before I do. Please someone make a track thats not in damn LA....
I have ridden this beast like a month ago and it pulls like nothing else, dualtrons are like Bird scooters compared to this
That's amazing. These are so rare right now. Where are you located (what country). -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Istanbul, Turkey. There is only one in the country right now. But 20+ scooters are on the way, probably next month delivery.
Slack should of ask the customer if Paul can ride it for the video. Total bummer and kind of a waste if Paul can’t ride it.
We will be testing it when ready!
İt has 12A fast charger it takes max 3 hours to full fill
Dont you think those wonderful motors are very limited for being at 72v batteries
It’s tuned for sure!
Excellent presentation, thanks with 🙏 from INDIA, BIHAR .
Most welcome!
that's like having my BMW R1 but in a hyper scooter yes course I was waiting FOR a scooter to mach my style of ride for a long time
No thanks anything above 30+ I already feel is unsafe
For me, above 50+ mph is already unsafe. The fastest that I am able to go on electric scooter is 40+ mph but less than 50 mph.
Fair enough!
You need a good quality e scooter with good suspension to go fast. Installing a steering damper like motorcycles have also help it stay buttery smooth at higher speeds. I ride mine down the highway to work going 55-65 mph every single day.
He's right, tone it down
At these speeds I'd want people to be required to get a motorcycle license and ride like a motorcycle with plates, mirrors, blinkers, etc
Thankyou paul!!!!
slicks+speed+scooter+tiny bit of water or oil on the road=def
All i want to know is can it wheelie
Haha
Make sure to get an rope and bind yourself to the stem. This thing will fly away when you go full throttle. 2x 0 to 90mph and the battery is empty 🤣
Would like to know what cells are inside and how they are connected. How many of them are in parallel?
Will get details shortly!
The 920 name is in reference to the battery configuration 20S 9P. Cells are genuine double A grade, 40T (high discharge cells) sourced directly from Samsung
The fastest that I am able to go on electric scooter is 40+ mph but less than 50 mph. It's called "Vsett 10+"
That’s very fast too!
To be honest myself as a Wolf King GT owner I felt that power at 65mph first hand I will never trust a 90mph scooter with a single stem but that's just me, this probley a awesome scooter no dout but hey just being honest.👍🏽
Thanks for sharing
Much better design than Emove Roadster C-type suspension NOT fan of those C-type suspension because it needs a damping. After all motorcycle and motocross and all E-bike are only using dual front fork suspension.
Insightful! Thanks for sharing. -Vosk
Where can i buy one??
Check the link in description!
such a beautiful machine
It really is!
Got to be nuts
It sure is!
Speed test
Hopefully soon!
I need a 125mph scooter!!! But this is cool for now
Haha lol
Not sure you like ur life😂
Just 125mph?,that's it...💁🏽♂️I'm looking for a scooter that has the combined power, speed and range of the Slack and Rion together. Now we talken. Atleast 170mph and 250 mi range
I don't know if Paul can reach 90 mph!🤷
It’s crazy speed for sure!
That's badass...wish I could afford it
Hopefully one day!
That is not the fastest the Cyber scooter by weped goes 130mph
Anyone have GPS on that ?
Its not the worlds faster e scooter. Ive meet a pro racer, his went 160km, 90mph is 145. Hand made in Korea
Do you have a link? I'd love to see data or video. I'm always trying to keep tabs on the fastest scooters. -Paul
Ive crashed into a car going 30mph honestly didnt feel a thing but i think thats because i hit mainly the back of the car if it was at the front end i would of went flying
Glad you are okay! Stay safe.
no offense, but every company says their scooter is the fastest scooter in the world...🤣
Yea they keep getting faster!
This is not the fastest electric yet. The fastest one is belongs to "Rion RE90". It can reach 100 mph! But it (restricted to 80 mph) for safety.
Would be cool to see a video of someone actually demonstrating faster speeds on an RE90. Claiming specs doesn’t win the 1st position on the podium
Any gps recorded speeds on that one?
Worlds fastest scooter?
Lul. Worlds fastest death trap, but seriously helmet mandatory on this one.
Even with my usual $3,200 worth of motorcycle gear on, I'd be very nervous about hitting these sorts of speeds. -Paul
You could say the same to the fastest other things.
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide pauly! Ehhhhhhh ❤️yes sir
@@InterventioN746 correct
Im sure the nervousness would wear off eventually. How fast have you gone with motorcycle? When I started riding I was scared shitless, now my old bike is too slow lol. I wish they would get more scooter race tracks. Being on the road is a death trap not the scooter itself.
How fast they need to make these things go before someone kills themselves???
This thing is a super beast for sure!
Not the fastest scooter. The fastest goes to Rion. That does 100mph+
Is there a video with documented GPS speeds? We haven’t seen one
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide sheesh you sound pretty pretty pressed by the Rion company. Has yours been gps tested ?
It takes a certain level of mental deficiency to ride a scooter at 90 mph, there is no walking away from a fall at that speed.
It depends on how you fall, what you’re wearing and how much run off room you have. It’s not unusual for Moto GP riders to walk away from 90 mph crashes. I’ve hopped away from an 80mph crash on the track and raced two days later. I still feel that one when I walk though. -Paul
LOVE IT
I’m not feeling the name. Slack to me means lazy. I would have preferred something more typical like Flash or even Slash. I don’t want slack, I want energize, diligent, toned, firm, tight. But Slack does not confirm confidence to me.😂
lol haha
Feeling for ya, better talk to your shrink..can't have you having a mental meltdown over the name of an e scotter, you may never leave the nut farm.
I don't like the look of that stem for 90mph😂
It’s actually very tough!
ill get one
Nice! It’s a monster for sure
This is a terrible idea. I don't know why the scooter companies insist on putting themselves out of business like this. How do they imagine law makers reacting to ridiculous speeds like this on unlicensed unregistered vehicles with no official safety testing and no mandatory safety gear? I get sick every time I see a company release one of these "super scooters."
35-40mph is plenty honestly, and the argument can easily be made that performance bicycles like the Tour De France bicyclists travel that fast, but there's no law maker that's going to go along with 90mph.
It’s for private us not commercial roads
