My hair is the same way. One side grows significantly faster than the other. And the back section of my slower growing side takes foreverrrrrr to grow. It is like 1.5 inches behind the rest of my hair. I cut all my hair even and literally baby the shortest parts of my hair and it made no difference. The hair just grows how it wants. I just roll with it.
The way you measure with the tape measure makes more sense. Almost everyone else struggled with the scalp to ends measurement on here lol. Beautiful Hair by the way 🌹
