When I was a youth Morning Star had numerous routes connecting Montego Bay to Savanna-la-Mar and Negril. Blue Danube worked in what was possibly an arrangement, as They ran in the opposite direction morning going from Savanna-la-Mar and Negril to Montego Bay on the same routes. My main use for years when I attended Rusea's High School in Lucea, Hanover was the Morning Star route that left Montego Bay, turned up the hill at Hopewell, then went Bamboo, Chigwell, Guerney's Mount, Cold Spring, Great Valley, Pondside, Cascade, Retrieve, Jericho, then Lucea. It served some other routes, leaving Lucea and going via Dias, Grange Hill, Frome, Georges Plain then Sav. All through the hills of Hanover. In the evening it did the reverse. Another Morning Star ran along the coastal highway to Negril, then to Savanna-la-Mar via Little London. Blue Danube did the same routes only in reverse. There is so much I could tell about these buses but space does not allow it.
