Hi George and Su and Stavros thank you so much for showing another fantastic interesting vlog yes it’s still a shame that it’s still like that and we really hope that it gets sorted out one day
I was so happy to go, It was very very sad for me after 50 years to see Famagusta like that and for the people who lived there,PS, I believe my self ONE CYPRUS FOR ALL CYPRIOTS,We must Learn from the past live for day and look to the FUTURE FOR CYPRUS, 👍🏼
Brilliant videos keep it up 👍…. Has Nissi beach bar area had work done? If so is this finished yet? Could we get a video seeing how it now looks Thank you The goddard family
Great visit down memory lane for Stavros. What is it for everyone to come from North London / Stoke Newington connections?? Loving sorting out the old signs on the buildings and guess the Business...
@@CYPRUSINSIGHT I know about ha ha. I grew up in North London until the age of 5 years. My father remained in London and I moved to Kent with my grand parents...in the country
@@StavrosKarageorgi-yj4ql I guess it was very emotional for you, bringing back so many memories. But at least you came back to see it again, rather than just wishing it to happen.
Nice. Came here in 2019 (used to live in Agios Nikolaos army camp back in 1983/84) and crossed border and stayed in the walled city for one night. I thought taking photos of the town was frowned upon and subject to almost arrest lol - has that been relaxed now? We had to pretend we were taking photos of us but with the buildings in the background
Mr John the red bus, private taxi, you can take hire car but have to buy insurance at crossing point and it's only 3rd party, so if anything happens you have to get car back to south. Definitely worth going though
Mr John and the Red bus go there, or you can take hire car, buy 3rd party insurance at the crossing point, but if anything happens to car you have to get back to the south side. Or hire a taxi for the day. We'll.worth the effort.
My husband was in Cyprus in 1974, he was serving in the British army they were waiting to fly back to the UK, when the Turks invaded !! They had to stay on the island and help get the refugees out of Famagusta to Nicosia. So sad the island is still divided :(

They have opened bits up and photography is allowed in most places.
Love the videos. Can you please tell me how we do this is it a tour? We are coming to protaros on 13th June and would love to see this.

@@CYPRUSINSIGHT how much would a taxi cost for the whole day round about?
@john russell I'm not sure if you contact Mark Gough from everything Ayia Napa and more, he might be able to sort you a good price.
