Great comedian actor george burns , though not a singer ,for example had been puffing not cigarrettes but cigars all his adult life on and off camera, after starring in a series of blockbuster films till his mid 90's he passed away at the age of almost a century, almost twice the lifespan of some average clean living folks suddenly ending up dead or dying of natural cause at half his age .This is not to say that people should emulate their unhealthy habits i hope i'm not misunderstood here. Its a case to case basis with people including entertainers like singers.
