I am mestizo Filipino American born in the USA. When I went to visit my long lost relatives in the Philippines I went to quite a few clubs. I was astounded by the quality of the voices of the average club singer....I would guess that the PI has per capita more great singers than just about anywhere. Obviously, Ms. Amon is a stratospheric talent. P.S. my Aunt is the famous singer Carmen Patena.

The phrase at 3:37 in the song is about 14 seconds long. The fact that she kept it that long and went up and down the scale like she did is super impressive. If you go back to the whistle note, that phrase is also about 14 seconds long and includes her transition to the whistle. Pretty damn impressive.
It's a very singable song but no one could ever perform it prefectly other than her alone. And the reaction is so stunning. Really a professional voice coach. With technical analysis and explanations.
In every start of her performance, what she does is what we call INTERNALIZING and not nervousness. 😂 Morie is known to be full of emotions when she sings but always has that control over the song and her voice.
The cries , squeaks, and growls are the staple of this singer. He facial expressions alone draw you in. When you can't even understand the language and you do not even pay attention to that fact it is absolutely incredible. Best singer out there today.

That's because Wish Bus has a different concept than the other radio stations. There are many you tube reactors that are saying that Wish Bus performers sing in a recording studio without audience. They don't know that it goes around the country and people are waiting for it so they can hear and see their fave singers sing in front of them.

Another good filipine singer Katrina Velarde also "never enough" or "go the distance". Another extraordinary singer from South Korea, So hyang, "Arrirang alone" or "bridge over trouble wather", you will be pleasantly surprised. But ... someone said somewhere that if a vocal coach has never listened and analize Dimash Kudaibergen, is not a true vocal coach (it is not me who are saying that :) it is an extraordinary incredible Kazak singer that I recommend "S.O.S d'un terrien en detresse" the Slavic bazaar version and "sinful passion" to start you will not be disappointed. Another extraordinary singer from South Korea, So hyang, "Arrirang alone" or "bridge over trouble wather", you will be pleasantly surprised.
But ... someone said somewhere that if a vocal coach has never listened and analize Dimash Kudaibergen, is not a true vocal coach (it is not me who are saying that :) it is an extraordinary incredible Kazak singer that I recommend "S.O.S d'un terrien en detresse" the Slavic bazaar version and "sinful passion" to start you will not be disappointed.

I love both of them but when it comes to riffs/runs, vocal range and resonance I'll give it to Katrina. When it comes to tone, vocal texture and falsetto/whistle I'll give it to Mori. Love them both!
