- You may have heard about hospitality in central Asia. Uzbekistan is a great example. We met random people on our trip and they invited you to their homes and offered tea.
The world is not lost yet guys.

I would never call these people poor: they have everything they need to live and to spare, they have each other, they seem to be lovely and hospitable; and their country is beautiful
Those people may not have much in terms of the latest tech, cars, smooth infrastructure, and such, but I was impressed seeing the bounty of their gardens and farms, and so they can keep themselves well fed with very healthy and fresh food, and also they are kind people that maintain community ties well. I'm impressed.
How people are happy there even without modern technology. This is how people love the tradition. In our country (Azerbaijan) countryside people are like this. But unfortunately urban cities are getting closer to new technology and people are money addicted as everywhere’s. Love from Azerbaijan to our brother Uzbekistan.
Poverty does not create crime. Crime creates poverty. Enjoyed the video as always!
“One room. One sofa and they’re happy.” Lol. That’s every man around the world. Give him some food, a game to play or watch, a nice drink and he’s occupied for hours!
I am uzbek but i live in korea now . When i watch your videos i want to go uzbekistan. Thank you so much
Happy to hear that!
Wow Uzbekistan! I love this country that thanks to your previous videos, I was able to get to know better. It's so beautiful and the people are so friendly.. Thank you so much Slava. You are fantastic. Greetings from Italy💚💙❤️
Central Asia and Eastern Europe is the dream that I really want to go. Thank you RussianPlus. when it mention Uzbekistan, it comes to my mind: peaceful, hard-working people, kind, with achievements, family, empathy, and respect. THANK YOU. Greetings from Guatemala City, Guatemala. 🇬🇹 🇬🇹 A latin american loves a life of adventures. Gracias RussianPlus. te agradesco por mostrar el lado mas simple y humano a donde viajas. Gracias Slava. Go Ahead and I wish all best of the success. 👍🤝
I was in Uzbekistan in 1988 and I loved it.
At the risk of sounding like my dad, everyone has purpose in these type of towns. Crime is more of an issue when an industry leaves and no one built anything up in it's place for income and locals also aren't self-sufficient. In this video there are so many crops, livestock, family-built homes, that people are rich a different way. If you're self-sufficient, a GDP-like measurement of wealth doesn't reflect day-to-day living.
I'm from a small ranching town and have many memories of hanging out with older people who liked things simple, so I LOVE your rural videos. It's fascinating how it's a parallel world over in central Asia. Different, yet similar enough to be nostalgic.
Damn, I am from Moldova and I am still surprised how good people were raised in USSR. My grandmother's dad had also 10 children and he was hard-working as well.
absolutely beautiful. delightful people and very hospitable. So enjoyed your trip thank you. I am 81 and an armchair traveller!
Glad you enjoyed it! 😊
Loved this video, people in these villages seem to be very humble, hospitable and hard working. Thank you for sharing such wonderful and informative video Slava and Lena. I’d love to meet you two one day
So nice of you
Wonderful video Slava and Lena! In Uzbekistan people have less but give more! Hospitality is a given with these people! Beautiful images of a beautiful country. Thank you for showing us (me) 🙂 Poka poka 🙂
They seem to have quite a lot that they grow and cultivate themselves on their farms. I'd love to visit at some point.
I subscribed to hundreds of channels, but there are only six or eight that I like the most, and yours is among the best in them! Please create more often. As usual, pressed the Liked
These villages are like the inverse of American cities. Poor, little to no tech or industrialization, but happy, healthy people with families and communities. Fascinating to see an alien (to me) culture too! Beautiful people! Thanks for sharing.
The old man's name is Khoshbakht, which is an Iranian name (Persian word) meaning Happy or Lucky.
No it’s not. His name is Khushvaqt and it is an Uzbek name! There was a misunderstanding in pronunciation by Slava and Lena as they are not Asian and it is acceptable.
Wonderful video of a great country and people. I’m currently in Uzbekistan 🇺🇿 visiting my wife’s family. Slava did Lena have the baby yet 😃👍
Thanks 😊 not yet 😃
Hah the music at the beginning reminds me alot of the Laketown Theme from Hobbit, anyways, amazing video as always ^^
Amazing for video. Amazing Uzbekistan, keep healthy from Indonesia❤
Once again, you’ve taken me someplace off my radar. And once again, you’ve shown me the humanity of people even though their culture and environment is much different than mine. Not even National Geographic presents our world as authentically as you do.
It is good to see this aspect of Uzbek life and culture, but I also understand that many Uzbeks leave the country for better opportunities in Russia, Germany, USA, Korea, etc.
Thank you so much 😊
Обалденное видео. Захотелось поехать в Узбекистан!
As always, a fascinating video. You and Lena have a charming way of relating to everyone wherever you go and documenting in a discreet and unobtrusive way what they do and what they are all about. That's a gift!
Great genuine people. Are villages in Bulgaria used to be like that, now everybody become citizen and no body wants to work on the fields.
My grandparents used to live in a village in North-Eastern Bulgaria; when I saw the tobacco the smell and how the leaves felt instantly came to mind.
Very interesting video, and the people of Uzbekistan 🇺🇿 look very kind & hospitable. Greetings from Lithuania.

Lots of love, salam and dua for that Noor-Mohammed and his family who lead a genuine life what I dreamt about my entire life...
May Allah bless you and your family and neighbours.
Lots of love ❤ from Bangladesh
I just wanted to tell you that I have been enjoying your videos very much! As a side note, I just love to listen to you while you are speaking English. You sound just like an American to me, and I am an American! I do detect that Tennessee twang (I'm from the Midwest)
Thank you 😊
Thank You for another great Video. These people are all happy. You can't miss what you don't have. The more you have in the USA people want to take cause they don't have it. People here just want people to give them what they need without working for it. Not all in America are like that...the further out in the Country the more people help each other & share. You have been here to see. There is greed & hate (why I do not know) I like working outside-mowing the 4 acres-landscaping more with flowers & flowering trees so I have less to mow. I am 72 & I am enjoying my life away from as many people as I can...My grandson lives with me to help
What's up Slava! Good to see another video, glad you're having fun and doing well
Thank you for the video. Respect mama, papa and the beauty of humanity they preserve.
This countryside content is amazing. Keep posting similar videos. I am amazed to see the abundance of fruits.
Thank you for taking us to Uzbekistan. It’s wonderful how you show the scenery and rural live of the farmers in a quiet way and most of all how you connect with the people in a way that they let you film and remain natural and authentic. Well done Slava. Loved it.
Your videos are always a treasure!
Hello from Uzbekistan and uzbek people. I like your video very much. I am blissfully happy seeing many positive coments about our nation. I am from Bukhara maybe you will come in future in our city.
Wonderful video. Thanks Slava and Lena.
Thank you 😊
Great Channel!!!
Being able to support your family on a farm is far from poverty, it's tremendous wealth. I'm not sure what happened in the past few centuries, but the contrast with neighboring Afghanistan is undeniable. For all its failures, the Soviets/Russians must've done something right.
The answer is irrigation. The woman said that they don't have rain for whole summer. That's true. But they have a several rivers. From these rivers Uzbeks dug up channels which split to smaller channels which split to even smaller channel. Literally every household and farm had their own personal channel called 'Arik'. They have dug them up by hand for hundreds and thousands of years. In the early Soviet times there were saying 'Ташкент- город хлебный' which means Tashkent is a rich city, full of food. During the Russian revolution, the famines of 20s-30s and WW2 the waves of hungry Russians fled there to survive.
Afghanistan is more mountainous. No big rivers. Hard for agriculture.
This is how 'Arik' look like

Beautifull place and freindly people
It's always informative and educational to watch your video where people who are culturally so different from mine live life, full of smiles, and welcoming😅😂 "strangers." I live in the USA, for my undergrad to post-graduate days, and such life would have been alien, as I was always labeled as one (alien) so long my feet were on its soil.😊 Thank you for the value-added video.
Uzbekistan people are very smart , brave and hard working their living is very nice healthy food, good delicious meal I pay salute them or assalsmu Alekum wa Rehmatullah.❤😂❤❤🎉

Great video, Slava. I wonder if Zack, now in South Carolina going to college will start speaking English with a Southern accent as did you.😊
I hope so! :)
@@RussianPlus That was meant in a positive way, Slava. To me, a northerner, Southern speech, including yours, though it differs from the Carolinas across to Texas, is mellifluous and calming - a genuine pleasure to listen to, one of the many reasons I follow your channel.
Glad you think so 😊
Very interesting video!
the locals were wonderful people, positive, communicative, it was a pleasure to listen to them .
❤ from Moscow!

Узбекистан - хлебный край. Узбеки - трудолюбивый, умелый, талантливый народ.
Great videos Slava! What's the difference between your channels RussianPlus and CoolVision?
You are very adorable! I am in love with you.
Super video. So enjoyable. Is Uzbekistan a state of Russia? Very rustic, lovely people, very friendly and grow the best foods. I’m liking learning about this part of the world. Thankyo
It’s an independent country . It used to be part of the USSR.
No. It used to be part of Iran for thousands of years until the invasion and occupation of Soviet union.
@@ashvojthere is not any "iran" by thousand years. Just only Persia.
@@sdragenrauth248 not true. It has always been "Iran". Iranians never called their land Persia, which was only a province of Iran. In the Persian language (Parsi) the province of Persia is called Pars. Iran in Persian means Aryan. Iran = Aryan Imperium
@@ashvojthe territories of present-day Iran were occupied by the Turkish nations and were part of the kingdom of Amir Temur. better learn history from reliable and adequate sources.
Such a cool video
One detail video on Yaroslavl oblast ❤
Hi Slava👋💙
i've been invited into people's homes countless times in Turkey, Central Asia, India etc etc.. I've never accepted once - in fact, it typically makes me feel uncomfortable to be dragged into someone's house..
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Now going on August 19
Заметил,во всех видео из постсоветских республик,старики с теплотой вспоминают о СССР.
Interesting! Their names are Persian and seems they have carried that culture to an extent as well. As you well know, the Pesians/Iranians were in central Asia until the Mongols invasion in 13th century. It seems that after the Soviet take ovee of the area, Russian language replaced Persian and Turkish. Her name "Mohtaram" means respectable.
Yes, the territory of Uzbekistan was part of the 'Big Iran' many-many years ago. But it weren't the Mongols who changed it. Actually Turks started to arrive to the Central Asia in the 7th century. Almost every century there happend an invasion which brought another wave of the Turkic people. The turkization of Uzbekistan was a slow process. At the beginning of 20th century there were a lot of people around Bukhara and Samarkand who spoke Tajik (Farsi) . I had a colleague from Urgut ( the small city from the video). He told me his grandfathers spoke Tajik. All turkic languages (except The siberian turcks) have a lot of Iranian words. I am a Tatar. When I read 'A thousand splendid suns' I could understand almost every Dari (Farsi) words the author used
Very interesting. Thank you for sharing! My understanding is that a lot of Iranians were mixed with Turks and that is why they look different than the pure Turks. Is that correct?@@ayrat7410
Lovely❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😍

Hi.
Which camera you are using?
❤❤❤❤👌👌👌
Favourite pastime of mine, visiting far away exotic places, observe ordinary people peacefully going about their daily lives! Calming, educational; a fore taste of life as it will be in Jehovah God's coming kingdom under Christ Jesus,in an paradise devoid of evil, corruption, suffering and death! (Revelations 21:1-5) Blessings, all believers; amen.
Secret behind it pure Islamic teaching. These people may not have realized it but deep roots lead you to islam.
Their deep roots lead them to Persian Zoroastrianism and Turkic Tengrism
Nice, but wery little ladyes to see😂
Very nice looking 😂namaste ❤❤❤
Come to US you will get introduced by locals of gun collection and drug culture
😅😅
Yeah, that’s what I did in the south. Shoot guns.😂. One of the first activities to do.
Still trying to figure it out the reason? I give you a clue, diversity.

Слава, ты знаешь по моему мусулманскый традиции, но ты у нас ходил в каротких шорты. Когда прейжаеш к нам, ты не можешь ходить как ты хочешь. Следующий раз незабывай одеть нормальный одежды.
Your video really touched my heart about the Uzbekistan people. They seem very humble people and would make anyone feel welcome. I would like to visit some day! Thank you for your insight into these wonderful people!
Slava! I absolutely love these videos…keep em coming ❤. They may not have all the facilities like us the city dwellers but they seem very happy and open hearted for sure! I appreciate your efforts and time to bring these interesting videos.
Glad you like them!
The smile on their faces when they’re sharing nuts and fruits with you… That’s the gift of humanity and friendship, Slava!
I love listening to the women complain in this video. It makes my heart warm. Uzbekistan 🇺🇿 is very blessed to have such mothers, wives and daughters. MUCH respect.
Yay Slava & Lena - so nice to see you both again! You have the best travel videos on youtube - really bonding with the people and showing us real life
Thanks so much! 😊
