Reminds me of an old FPS game I came across from the early 2000s... Called Clive Barker's Undying and it's freaking nightmare fuel. At one point you're going down this hallway that has all these white curtains blowing into the space every few steps and obscuring your view, and you can hear the monster but you can't see it, and you can't go back out the way you came. I almost had a heart attack going through that stupid hallway.
