Thanks for another great video Simon. I bought this deck when it first came out and there is so much to learn. I've been delving more into the Norse Gods and beliefs and even if one doesn't read with this deck I think it offers a lot of information in all of the Beings of the Norse people. The world tree diagram is great and the artwork is amazing. Hope all is well with you and have a very Happy New Year!

happy roaring 20s Simon! I love this deck, because of prices I was tossing up between this & El Goliath but now the decision is made - BOTH!!

Stunning deck. Really love it. Love the idea of the spread putting each of the nine worlds on the grid.

I'm going to order it and maybe choose one world as a clarifier to a regular tarot reading or something like that, maybe for spiritual work. It is so unique. Stirs up creative/intuitive insight - that's for sure...and just from watching you review it!! Thanks for the walk-through!

It arrived today!! Wow!! Temperance blew me away. As a psychotherapist, we often refer to maladaptive thinking as being rooted in a part of the brain referenced as the 'lizard brain'...this image (without reading the book...just intuitive response) IMMEDIATELY brought this to mind. A lot of recovery from most forms of trauma relies heavily on Temperance. Anyways, I LOVE this deck! Thanks for sharing!! Please don't share anymore (LOL) because pretty soon I will have to move into my car and I'm pretty sure my 15year old isn't going to appreciate that! ROLOL

What an interesting and different deck. It was great to see it, since I never have. I think it would have to go into my study pile, though.....so for once, my wishlist might be safe for the short-term. Great walkthrough! 😀

What a fascinating deck. It is interesting that I ordered this deck a while ago and am waiting for it to arrive! My son-in-law is very much “into” Norse mythology. In fact, my granddaughter is named Freya!

Very interesting deck. Looks like the kind that'll just get deeper and more rewarding, the more you study it.
    Happy New Year, Simon! ✨🎉✨🥂😘💕💖

Oh my I need this deck!!! Considering I work with Ođin and Freyja... thank you for the video, and yes the norse language is difficult when you start, I stumble over names repeatedly when I'm doing my series on my channel

I thought about you, when I opened and walked through the deck. Your use and pronunciation of the words is very impressive!

I should receive mine within the next 2 weeks, I can’t wait to work with it.
I’ve been drawn the Northern Europe all my live, living in Finland since 15 years now.

I like this video and your honesty.. "I sm gonna sit and read the book" 😁
Do you still use this deck? If yes, for what kind of readings?

I am confused by this deck's description of the Norns. I have learned, from several sources for the past decades, that Urd represents the past, Verdandi the present, and Skuld that which shall be. But in this deck, Skuld represents the past, Urd the present and Verdandi represents the future?
It's a beautiul deck, but the confusion about the Norns is holding me back from buying this

It’s a very complex deck. The hierarchy of worlds also figures into a reading.

Did you know I have Swedish heritage? My grandmother on my father's side is from Eskilstuna - she and her family migrated here when she was a baby. Over the past few months, my interest in Nordic mythology and divination has been piqued. I"m overwhelmed ...just sayin! Do you have the Viking Oracle? I'll have to be mindful of nines coming up. I often see eights or the infinity symbol. Nine does come up in my year ahead spread... in August... I can appreciate the deck, but I'm not there yet. Let me know how your study goes! ox

Yeah, I have found that these cards don't play around. There is nothing lighthearted about them. That said, I think they are complex, intense and wonderful. Super complicated, I think, but once you figure out the layout it goes pretty systematic. I love them. I shared with you before that I laminated mine and it has worked well. I hope you enjoy them. The author and his artist daughter have a new book coming out soon as well.

For a long time I have been looking for Viking decks or other decks that include Scandinavian mythology. But so far I haven't found any that appeal to me. And, unfortunately, this deck doesn't speak to me either. Don't like it at all that the artwork is in black and white. So I will have to keep looking. Happy 2020!!

I don't know anything about this deck, I just googled it to see what's available...

@@jackiescrystalmoon I have seen that deck. I prefer that deck over this one, but still not all that great I'm afraid. But thank you very much for the tip!!
