- Six Digit Digital Clock with ATMEL AT89C2051
● Buy this KIT on ICStation: bit.ly/2UR0z3f
In addition to the general features included in electronic clock, this kit offers the functions of: Alarm clock, Stopwatch and Countdown. The assembly of this kit was extremely easy, every step is shown in this video. The current consumption is very low and the clock is powered at a voltage between 7V and 12V DC.
A very important feature of this clock is the "Multiplexer" configuration of the displays, which allows you to manage all six of them with a single Integrated, reducing the number of components and energy consumption.

I used this video to build my clock , thank you for making it so clear for every one, at age 68, I'm a perfect example you're never too old to learn new tricks, I followed every step you took in this video and the end result was/is a fully functioning clock even though I had never worked on any electronic kit before, I would have messed it all up it it weren't for little warnings about what parts goes where and the positive/negative appropriate connections. thank you for taking the time to make this video. great editing too.
Thanks for appreciating my work
Thank you so much for this video! Since instructions are not included, I got a little worried until I came across your video. You made it so much easier!
Thank you so much for liking my videos😁
Excellent project. Greetings Stefano, from Saltillo, Mexico🤗👍
Thank you! Greetings from Italy :)
Nice circuit
Thank you =)
Excellent 👌👍
Thank you :)
❤️Continua cosí!!❤️
Grazie mille!
¿Para qué sirve el conector número 2?
Hello, thank you for your video,
I would like to realize just the timer function [mm,ss,mm] with star and stop front going down to mass). can you help me to modify the program
Thank you for the answer.
Jeff
Nice and cool, All very best and can we have link to get the code and guide to use it.
Another thing can we adjust the time using Remote and also with switches you used.
Thanks for posting your vids really help much!
Hi, thank you!
The time is adjusted only via the buttons on the PCB, it is not possible to do it via remote control
Ótimo projeto. Não chegou a usar um RTC (real time clock)?
- Gracias! No, no es tan avanzado, es un simple IC programado
- Thanks! No, it's not that advanced, it's a simple programmed IC
@@Stefano91ste Hi, thank's for the video, Is the program inside protected (bitlock) ?
Where to buy complete package digital clock sir?
I built this kit a few months ago! If anyone's interested I found it at a better price here: circuitpop.com/products/6-bit-alarm-clock-v2-diy-electronic-kit .
Excellent video sir, i would like to ask a question, does this circuit have alarm feature given the fact that it has a buzzer?
Thank you, yes it have an alarm mode
@@Stefano91ste thank you sir, may I ask if the IC is programmable? Some of the comments say that there is a code used in this kit? So is there a micro processor involved?
Why the two connectors? Is the other one in for battery concealment for if you decide to build an enclosure?
Yes Exact
Have you checked the accuracy of this clock? Be interested in its daily gain/loss of seconds per day or month, atc. There appears to be no crystal in the circuit.
Obliged for an answer.
12.000 MHz crystal is just below the processor in lower right corner of the board. Probably pretty accurate.
Do the resistors have to be the same way each time you put them in
Hi, no the resistors have no polarity
Can I use a double a battery in this ?
Of course, you can power it as you want, as long as it is between 7V and 12V DC
How do I power this circuit? What kind of battery?
Hi, this clock is powered at a voltage between 7V and 12V DC.. so a 7.4V battery or a 9v battery are ok
I want buy this 6Digit Digital Clock Ready made not assembly Parts.
Hi, this model does not exist already assembled, they are DIY KIT.
Do you have the at89c2051 code?
Unfortunately no, they don't share it.. you could however try to extract it from the IC by having a programmer
The code is available in assembly language only if bitslock protection is disabled.. and effectively if you have a programmer.
why is that buzzer for ?
Hi, is for alarm function
Why you didn't add your voice?
Hi, I don't like hearing my recorded voice
Oh i see
G6
I do not understand
