    Greatly explained, thanks a lot! I really appreciate the music theory you tell behind the song (the scales and solo investigation). I'm very amature with the music theory myself and just starting to understand it (or hear :)) and it is so cool to see complicated things which I like (to me at least they are complicated) explained! Also you play very clear during explaination which is easy for ears to catch (it s important when learing). So, thanks a lot and keep it up!

      Your tone sounds great man 👍🏽! I've been thinking bout a pickup upgrade and it's funny I've been torn between the super d and JB! And for the Kiss songs that'd be awesome if you did that! I love there grudge vibe in the earlier hits, alive 1/ alive 2 era songs. Ive been working on mix of those Alive albums like "watchin' you (my favorite) strutter, firehouse, come on and love me, nothin to lose, deuce, she, cold gin, parasite, black diamond" I love "100,000 years" but it sounds crazy intricate haha and of alive 2 "god of thunder, shock me, Detroit rock city and Dr. Love are some good ones too, any of those would be awesome and greatly appreciated! Keep me updated and keep up the great work bro!

    Matt. Awesome job. I have to ask. Why did you leave out the first 2 A notes before the hammer ons and pull offs? You probably have a lot of ppl trying to learn this and it's not sounding correct to them. You play them but you dont ever explain to play them

    • @MattBrownGuitar
      @MattBrownGuitar  7 років тому

      With anything fast, set the metronome to click on the 8th note instead of the quarter note. Then, just start at a really slow tempo and make sure your slurs and subdivisions are perfectly in time before speeding up the riff.

    Listen to the recording. You’re just playing how the tablature book for bleach, said to do, like everyone else tries to do. He’s not playing triplets, he’s playing 16th notes. It’s 10 1/16 notes, but you don’t do pull offs. You have to play each note individually. I just count like.ticka-ticka-ticka-ticka-ticka. It’s the same notes, just a lot harder to play than pull offs. Nothing better than how to video with a guy that doesn’t know how to.
